Sheesh Mahal is my favorite place to get Indian food in OKC.

We ordered the vegetable biryani and paneer masala to go, and unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. Despite being advertised as Indian cuisine, what’s served here is not authentic Indian food—it leans more toward Pakistani flavors, and even then, it’s poorly executed.
The paneer masala was watery, bland, and lacked any real flavor. The vegetable biryani was even worse—not only was it dull in taste, but we actually found a piece of meat in it, which is completely unacceptable in a vegetarian dish.
While the service itself was polite and efficient, the food was so bad that we ended up throwing it away. This was a complete waste of money, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine, good Indian food.

I had the Chicken Achari with the garlic Naan and rice. Perfect. Good portions and delicious. Will definitely be going back.

I’m a little underwhelmed. I heard this is the best place for Indian food, and it was okay. I ordered Togo, maybe that’s why? My chicken samosa was VERY dry. The aloo samosa was great. Butter chicken was average and rice was dry. This is definitely not the best I’ve had, sadly.

Used to be a 5 star spot. Recent cuts have made takeout portions incredibly small and they still don't come with rice. Good flavor but won't be back unless they fix their pricing/portions.

We actually love this place but I am not too sure what exactly is going on. Some time ago we ordered and received a chicken biryani a little dry and the chicken was burnt. Today my sister ordered for delivery few Nutella naam for the kids and every single one was burnt, hard and the Nutella is barely present with sides with 0 Nutella.

My first ever experience with Pakistani food and I'll be back 100x. The butter chicken was immaculate. The chicken samosa and the sweet sauce 10/10. My husband got the goat biryani. The rice was so flavorful! I also really enjoyed the rose drink. Huge fan of the cheese naan! Staff was super friendly. Can't wait to bring my gf

We have been to Sheesh Mahal over the years but we don’t often get to OKC anymore to enjoy it as much as we’d like. That said, this was the first time we’ve been since they renovated their space. It’s bright, ore spacious, and lovely.
The food was amazing as usual. This time I tried the Mulai Kofta and it was delicious. We always get the Green Masala Rice and love it. The naan is perfect in how soft and chewy it is. My husband loved his Butter Chicken too. The portions are great and the prices are fantastic. All of these things make it our go to for Pakistani food in OKC!

We stopped here during a road trip from Texas to Iowa. After struggling with getting our homesick kids to eat at even the best and most popular restaurants in Texas, we were so pleasantly surprised by the food here. Probably the best food we had throughout our trip was at this restaurant. Authentic, clean and tasted like a fresh home cooked meal. Staff was extremely polite as well.
Food here is always good! Goal is to try everything on their menu!

I may not have been impressed by the tables and chairs but the service was amazing. The tables and chairs reminded me of an old fast food restaurant. The restaurant was loud but a great spot for lunch. Now onto the good stuff....the menu. Pricing was way too cheap! Generous portions and flavors were spot on. Try the Nutella Naan. You wont be disappointed!
