Super disappointed that last beautiful Sunday of February. February 24,2024 at 3:15pm. My " must go to" place in Oklahoma City. Patiently, waiting on a sunny day to get a refreshment. The only bartender was so busyI ordered one cold refething. Waiting 15 to 20minutes for it. I was feeling sad. However, nice day.

My favorite taproom in OKC? Yeah. And the competition is tough. But the vibe is always friendly and laid back. The beer is always delicious. The Eagle’s Nest is a great spot for small groups. I’m thrilled for their success, especially in light of owner Jake Keyes’ vision to encourage Native entrepreneurship. Skydance has quickly become a go-to destination for downtown OKC.

Consistently the best and freshest IPA’s in town. Colorblock and Skoden are unbelievably good.

Skoden 4 ever!!!! This brewery rocks. If you haven't show them some love yet then your wrong. Great location, friendly helpful staff, nice facility, killer vibe and super clean.

Fabulous brewery in a great location! Really tasty craft beers with a fun cozy vibe. Nicest bartenders too!

Really, really outstanding service. Casey is the best in the business. Beer was also excellent. This is a Must Stop in OKC.

Some of the best Hazy/NE IPAs I've ever had. Very friendly staff.

It’s a rarity to find a Native American-owned brewery amid the 9200+ craft breweries in the US, but thus far they are batting a thousand! I’m thinking of 7 Clans in Asheville, Bow & Arrow in Albuquerque, and now Skydance in OKC.Located in a trendy neighborhood just northeast of downtown, Skydance is affiliated with the Iowa tribe of Oklahoma. I’m an IPA guy, and I had pints of both the Fancy Dance (a NEIPA; 6.8%ABV; 18IBU) and Master of the Sky (an Imperial/DIPA; 8%ABV; 16IBU). Both were flavorful, heady brews. I’m having a hard time believing the IBU ratings found on Untappd, because both of these brews certainly danced on my tongue. No complaints, though. I like it that way.

The vibe is friendly and welcoming, and I found it conducive to doing some writing. Clientele skewed young adult, but I didn’t feel out of place being the grandfatherly-looking guy hunkered over his laptop. Cozy chairs beckon those wanting more intimate conversation, while a combination of small tables as well as much larger European-style community tables provided abundant seating. Skydance is dog-friendly, and it was fun interacting with the four-legged patrons. There’s a lot of good beer coming out of OKC these days, and Skydance is a definite if you’re a beer traveler passing through.Side Note: This area is busy on weekends, and parking is not cheap! I paid for four hours, since I planned to camp out for a while. All told, parking rates, service fees, and taxes cost me just shy of $20.

Native owned and celebrated. While we were interested to try for that alone, the beers were spectacular and the service was friendly. Love a beertender that will sit and discuss the stories behind the brewery and behind the beers. IPAs are stellar - Juice Wolves and DDH Fancy Dance are memorable. Highly recommend.

A must-visit in OKC. The space itself is open and welcoming with a loft and a patio in addition to the main room. The staff were both welcoming and helpful and when a large group showed up without warning, they just handled it quickly and easily. Amazing! The beers are delicious. This is the main thing, right? They have standards, seasonals and more rare beers and there truly is something for everyone. Our group self-exported several six packs back home to Kansas to share with others The owner is also the brewer is also the President of a tribe, which is just really really impressive. He was there when we visited and made the rounds to each table to greet everyone. True hospitality! Follow their socials to stay alert to specials, tappings and events. There's a food court nearby and you can order food via their app - quite convenient!

Pros: Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Couches, bar stools, leather chairs, tables, and patio furniture. My butt prefers the soft leather chairs. It also seems like you can bring your own food. Great service. Cons: Mostly sours and IPAs on the (current) menu. Would have preferred a stout or porter. Maybe next time! But what I had was pretty good. Not the best. But good.

Hands-down the best combination of location, facilities, and beer in OKC. Super-friendly staff, with a rotating menu that is a nice balance with the core beers. Dogs are welcome and with three distinct seating areas there's plenty of room for all.
