We just ate here for the first time this weekend and absolutely loved it! The service was beyond friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING. And we really love how cute this place is! My daughter had a diabetic alert dog & they were so extremely kind with her as well. This will definitely be a new frequent place for us!

Apparently they listen to the customer's food suggestions. Went a few weeks ago and the catfish was really salty. Made a comment discreetly when leaving. Went back a few weeks later and what a change. Thin, crispy, perfect catfish. Couldn't have asked for better. Recommended.

Drive-through – Took order in a timely manner and was very friendly and patient. Our food was very hot and the chicken fried chicken was crispy. They put the gravy underneath which is a great approach mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty and the green beans were excellent not too salty and not overdone. My whole family loved their meals, including my child who got the Kids, chicken nuggets They were very friendly at checkout and I would give them a five star on everything. So happy we did drive With soda pops
Please do not order the fried mushrooms. So disappointing

I went inside and ordered my meal, ordered a baked potato and asked for ranch dressing instead of sour cream, and they were going to charge me for the substitution, I told them that I was good and left. I used to eat here often before I moved away for a few years, and ordered my potato like this every time without an upcharge. I can understand the charge if I was ordering it in addition to, but I wasn't.

Today, I had the opportunity to dine at Soda Pops 1, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I ordered the chicken tender basket, which came with fries, Texas toast, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Sadly, the food lacked any seasoning or distinct flavors. The chicken tenders, fries, and mashed potatoes all tasted equally bland, resembling what I can only describe as nursing home food.My friend, a 20-year military veteran with overseas experience, compared it to military food and deemed it worse. This is quite a statement, considering the typically minimal expectations of military meals. We were both so disappointed that we couldn't finish our meals.The poor quality of the food was not the only issue. The cleanliness of the establishment was also concerning, with dead flies in all the windows, which is never a good sign. Unfortunately, the service did not redeem the experience, as it was lackluster and inattentive.Overall, our visit to Soda Pops 1 was disappointing, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend it. We will not be returning.

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Chicken fried steak was very small for the price and way overcooked. Asked for more white gravy because it was so dry and burnt. They charged me for the gravy. My wife and I were there from about 7 to 7:30pm with no other customers and still couldn't get drinks refilled. Had to get up with our drinks to get someone's attention. They were busy trying to get out of there when they didn't close until 9:00pm. Hadn't been to this place for many years because of the food quantities vs price and lack of service, but we thought we would give it another chance. Never again. We'll continue to go to Madisons Country Kitchen just south of there instead.
