The Route 44 cherry is absolutely the best way to cool down and fill up. I been working on mine about two hours now and it's still a slush. With this heat I figured it would have melted by now. Sonic has always done it right. I was there in the beginning and the #2 with tots and a strawberry shake is still America's best meal.

I pushed the red button out front. Same time a car pulled up to drive thru..While I waited to place my order. 3 more cars pulled into drive thru and had their orders taken. Finally they took my order for a large powerade slush, while My drive thru rival had been given his order and drove off. Now 3 cars were waiting for food. 5 cars now parked and waited to have orders taken in car hop section. Altogether 9 orders were filled before I got my powered slush. The worst part. I had parked next to the drive thru and walked up.

The food has a funny smell and taste. The person taking the other needs to speak up, like damn you work at a fast food restaurant. Food is nasty.. if you're tired of work, quiet. Just close that location.

Edit: Changed from 2 to 3 star because you can tell they are trying to get us taken care of and they do it with a smile despite the stress of a backed up line.
Original: The Food is always good but you're gonna be waiting a hot minute before you are able to enjoy it. Lol! I get an hour for lunch and although my workplace is minutes from here it takes every bit of that hour to get my food and get back. The staff in my experience have all been kind and it's not like half of them are outside on a smoke break. Idk what it is, if they are just unorganized or understaffed but most days there's a pretty long wait even by Sonic's norms. I typically wouldn't gripe because I understand that they get a lunch rush but there have been a few times where the wait has just been too long not to say something. I'm hoping management sees this and makes some adjustments. Don't blame your staff cause most that I've interacted with are always moving as quickly as they can.
