Place was dead on a lunch hour at about 12:15. The sushi was decent. Wasn't as cold as I'd have liked it to be. I also noticed the sushi chef didn't wash his hands before handing my food, as I was sitting at the bar. Then I noticed he went outside and came back, sat down, and when another customer came in and he took their order and again...
Made it without washing his hands. That was just utterly disgusting to me. There's an obvious reason to washing your hands before you're handling someone's food, but secondly, it's better to handle the sushi with colder hands.
I got a rainbow roll for 16 bucks, a single Sapporo beer, and a hot sake that we're 10 bucks each. Ended up being 42 bucks before tip. I'm not a cheap person, but house sake...gekkeikan?? Alcohol wasn't on the menu but I assumed the basic prices with other restaurants. Place is overpriced for lunch and no lunch specials either. The dinner atmosphere might be different, but based on my experience, I was over charged and wasn't at all impressed.

New owner is friendly and it has a nice atmosphere, great sushi, there are places closer to where I live but I go out of my way to drive here instead,
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in Oklahoma. The new owner is a good hearted young family man and puts maximum effort in each cuisine. My son loves the Spicy Cowboy and Sooner rolls. The restaurant is super clean and I highly recommend it.
They said 15 minutes for the food, right? Well, it took over 30. I watched the server serve everyone else in that place before I got my food. I wouldn’t be mad if I wasn’t in a rush! But dude, y’all said 15 minutes

This is an absolutely delicious restaurant! We’ve been in a few times, but recently saw it was under new ownership. The owner, Peter, was our server and his uncle was our sushi chef. We got two Crunch Rolls and one Poke Roll- both were delightful and tastes so fresh! I will be back and look forward to trying new rolls each time.

Very experienced high quality cuts of fish. Probably the best in OKC and fairly priced. Hayashi is gonna blow up once people start discovering this gem

The atmosphere of the location is very cozy and inviting, warmly lit with paper lanterns across the ceiling. The new owner, Peter, was very welcoming and was very helpful when we were ordering. I will certainly be back!
