Right when we entered, the lady gave me and my friend bad vibes. Her tone was very impolite and she overpriced our food. Before coming, we had checked the prices and saw that the spicy chicken teriyaki was $9.95. However, after ordering our food, it came out to $19.95, which I think is too much for just chicken and rice. I expected for the portion of food to be a larger quantity after hearing this price, but to my dismay, it came out in a very little size (check photo to see). The to-go box also came with soy sauce, but the amount was so small that it felt unnecessary to add. Overall, horrible experience and service. DO NOT GO HERE!

Walked in 42 minutes before closing and got turned down. Walked in the pouring rain. She offered to let me order to go. Hadn’t been in years, and went out of my way to take my son on a special date. Goodness. I don’t usually leave reviews but I thought this was worth one star.

Went to this place for sushi after a round of golf. Wife ordered sushi, and I just had a diet coke. Can't speak to the food quality, but my wife did enjoy her sushi. My review is more on what happened when I paid. The waitress took my card and bill and asked if I wanted to do a 18% or 20% tip. I replied "is zero not an option?" She repeated 18% or 20% for tip. This was weird because the service was minimal. My diet coke was the waitress bringing me a can of diet coke, and then the sushi cook delivered my wife's sushi. That was it.

Simply put Awesome! We've been eating there since it opened, Food has always been delicious, Service has always been top rate, prices are low for the high quality. I've eaten sushi all over America and a few overseas as my journeys have taken me, I have eaten quality that matched, but never portions so large for so low cost. Even during the CoVid outbreak the still offerered the same quality and price. Always fresh, large menu, great service.A very clean eatery both in appearance and cleanliness.

I wish i read the reviews before i eat here ? lady is rude and overcharged me $54 for just 3 rolls of sushi and i even get the cheaper one. Not coming back here. Better fix it before you end up closing the place, seems the lady trying to push the customer away.

Bad service , I had to keep asking for everything I needed and while talking the Lady kept walking and turning her back on me . Also said extra charge …. FYI it was at noon and I was the only customer . Sincerely I do not recommend this place.

I have been a customer since the beginning. I’ve defended the owner (angry lady) for years because the sushi is good. I don’t want to disclose how much I think I’ve spent here. Here’s why I’ve finally decided to review the business.Post Covid the store went to a choppy weird process of not seating people without a reservation (even if the place is empty) which is crazy considering they still have the same amount of people working there. I’ve been by a few times and recently was told that we have to leave because we don’t have a reservation.I don’t feel special or think I deserve special treatment. It’s just time for me to move on which is super sad for our family because this has been a place my kids learned to eat sushi. This isn’t a bad review, it’s just a sad one. I won’t be giving them any more of my money and I can only hope we get a better sushi option on the Southside.

This restaurant was the worst experience ever. The owner was very rude. We are from Texas and she told us that we were not welcome. She charged $75 for 3 beers a Saki and one appetizer. The restaurant was empty on a Friday night. She said there was only reservations and they closed at 8. There were two guys who came in as the reservation. We will let the community know about the experience. Unbelievable. Disappointing. So sad. Don't go people. Seriously.
