Priced to high for what you get! Food wasn't good at all. Service was great and everyone was super friendly, but y'all need to do something about the quality of food you serve
For starters, I’m completely aware that this is a fast food taco joint. So my expectations were not high to begin with.
When I got to the drive-through, I was greeted immediately with a welcome to Taco Bueno. “ I’ll be with you in a moment.” That was encouraging. The person was friendly.
Just over 16 minutes later, they came back to take my order. Again, the person was friendly. They repeated my order back and completed all the steps of service expected.
It only took a few minutes to get my food once the order was placed, and I was sent on my way.
I got home and unpacked the order, and everything was there as ordered.
So far, other than the 16-minute wait between the greeting and placing the order, everything was pretty good.
So now we get to the food. I remember Taco Bueno being pretty decent when I was a younger man. Not so much anymore. The crispy tacos were filled and not puny, but the taco shells were, to put it simply, awful! They were chewy and not crisp, like maybe they had been sitting out for a few days in a humid environment. It kind of ruined the tacos, even though that filling was decent.
The soft tacos were about as puny as they could be, almost a polar opposite of the crispy taco as far as the filling was concerned. The soft tortilla was very doughy and stuck to your teeth.
The nacho salad was loaded with toppings, and the toppings were fairly good. No complaints really until you got to the chips.
The chips were not crispy. They were extremely stale, lifeless, and flavorless. Things that are honestly a stretch to be called chips.
The meal was $39.62 for two of us. It was a decent amount of food, but very subpar and not worth the money or the time it took to get it. It’s unfortunate that we chose to eat Taco Bueno versus a local taco shop. We were in a hurry to get home and stopped there for convenience.
We won’t make that mistake again. If we want tacos, we will definitely eat at local taco shops next time.
Bueno, you could do yourself a favor and perform quality control checks on occasion.
Horrible drive thru speakers? Check. Dirty inside? Check. Mold in the ice/drink machine? Check. 20min wait time? Check. Would rather drink from a puddle in the parking lot? Check.
Took forever.... way too expensive... employees didn't care i was in the drive thru for nearly 30 minutes... no apology and no thanks
Food is just sooo bland.
I had a great experience here so I had to leave a review. Sunday morning we walked in and my sister and I were greeted instantly. The back work space was clean and organized. Only two men were working but you totally could not tell. My order was brought out to me. The other man came out and asked customers if they were ok and enjoying their meal. Quite a few people started showing up but that didn’t slow them down. Everyone got the same treatment. Very pleasant and my food was great! I have not had any good experiences with fast eats at all this year. Most places hire whoever will show up. Attitude, dirt and all. I did not have that experience here and I wanted to commend the hard work. Definitely will be back.

I don't know if they hire people with bad customer service. because none of these workers can comprehend simple orders. And always get my order wrong.They should have closed down this place instead of del taco. Even the workers dress dirty and unsanitary when preparing your food. And then they look at you like they are upset for you coming to the counter when they're only helping drive-thru. If I can give this a minus 5 star I would

I came to your restaurant and ordered through the drive thru yesterday. I ordered four (4) crunchy beef tacos. Now, tell me why were all four tacos placed in a large single container and not wrapped in individual taco wrappers? This was a total mess while trying to travel. Tacos were broken and the inside filling was tossed all around the container causing tacos to be empty when grabbed. This was highly disappointing, especially when I was not prepared to eat a tossed salad in my car with no napkins or plastic ware. Flavor was okay, presentation and delivery was extremely disappointing.

This has to be the worst taco Bueno ever. Every time I come here, it takes 20 minutes to make it through the drive-through even if it’s just one or two cars ahead of me Avoid this location!!!!!
We waited 25 minutes to order and their excuse was they just went through shift change and the prior shift left nothing stocked. They said they had to restock the meat, chips, cheese, and toppings. I have not been to this location in a couple years because the last time I came we had the same problem. I don’t know what is going on here but it needs to be fixed. Sounds like the management isn’t doing their job either. Definitely will not be going back. They should have at least offered a discount or something for their horrible customer service. I will definitely be reaching out to the corporate office so maybe they can make some changes.

I have such mixed feelings about this review. I went inside to place my order. I was the only customer in the store. The lady that took my order seemed very upset she had to quit bagging trash to take my order. The two cooking were both really sweet but it took over 23 minutes to get my food. They kept telling me they were working on it but I was watching them make food for people that ordered in the drive thru after I ordered. I know the two cooking were doing all they could but I feel like it wasn't a very good experience.

Very terrible make me wait outside the front door everytime I order no matter the amount of stuff in my order, everytime I get my order it’s wrong or missing items horrible.
