I’ve been eating here for over 15 years. You can’t find better Mexican fare than this place. It can get busy and crowded and, usually, if I need a refill I just take it to the counter, but the terrific food overshadows any issues with service and atmosphere. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby, like me, you’ll be back over and over and over again. If you don’t live nearby, it’s worth the trip!

The food is on point, with reasonable portions, and great flavor. The meats are tender. Their base salsa has good spice, but I need to ask them if they have spicier salsa, the next time I visit. Their Horchata is heavy on the cinnamon, which I prefer, but it's not too heavy to make your tongue numb.
My employees and I go there often, because the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the place is pretty clean.
If you go during peak hours, it will be packed. That should tell you how much please like this joint.

We ordered the plato con tres street tacos rice and beans. I asked for one taco de tripas doradas, it was good. The other two tocos I ask for dos tacos de barbacoa. We drove 14 miles out of our way because the reviews were 5 stars on the barbacoa. Well, I was very disappointed. Those who know, barbacoa is made of cow cheeks and lengua and it wasn’t, it is made of some other shredded beef. Just be prepared if you are going for the barbacoa. They taste okay but not barbacoa.
