Usually love eating here, but the last few times the queso has been cold when it comes out, and the fajita steak just hasn’t seemed fresh and has been very dry. But the service has always been good! But the food has gone down hill at this location

The service was sad. We went in and couldnt decide if it was seat yourself or not. We had 3 servers staring at us from their little hang out area. They made eye contact and didnt come help. We looked around about 4 minutes and the manager came from the back. She told the servers staring at us if you see someone seat them. She then came over and helped us. One of the servers annoyed followed her over and said "i guess I'll stand over here then" It's an odd set up. Nothing like the normal ones, a lot smaller but that's fine. The food was normal tex mex. They have queso and handmade tortillas. I think they've shrunk their menu from years ago.

We decided to try Ted’s based on a friend’s recommendation. Isabella was our server, she was fantastic. We ordered chicken nachos, the cream corn, and an enchilada sampler plate. So much food. The fresh tortillas are warm and delicious. I am currently on crutches. I was able to move through the restaurant and even though the restroom is small, I was able to manage in there as well. My only complaint: The door to enter is a pull door and its strong tension made it difficult for me to manage by myself in crutches. Sadly, the hostess, Mahogany, only several feet away at the hostess stand, was looking down at her phone and did not make any effort to assist me. Thankfully, a woman and her daughter came behind me and offered to hold the door so I could enter. Mahogany didn’t even look up until I was at the hostess station. That’s my only complaint, employees just do not need cel phones while working on the clock. Otherwise a fantastic experience.

Tucked away off of May Avenue is Ted's. I had heard about Ted's many years ago, and people were gushing over them. Went, and I keep going back. Now I'm gushing, too. Food is delicious and ample servings. Staff is friendly and professional. Clean and ADA compliant. Parking is first come, first park, but you can use parking lot across the street also. Very kid friendly. Salsa so heavily that you just want to drink it. I did.
The food was OK. I would return before I saw the roach. The waitress was strange. She said she thought it was an ant and killed it. (I have pictures) when she brought our Togo bags, I asked for tortillas. She proceeded to say she put them in the bag. I advised her she did not. She proceeded to check my bag, which was very rude. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I didn't ask for a manager, but I will not be back ever!
