Ted's Tacos and Cantina

Well, the food was up fast. I can say that for them. Probably because there wasn’t a single soul except me in the place. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, Which was $14. It was just chicken, cheese and tortilla. Oh and a ton of salt. It was very salty. No extras on it like onions or sour cream or guacamole. If you like salty chicken, you’ll love the quesadilla.

The salsa and queso that came with it were mediocre, but about half what you would need for the amount of chips they gave me.
I won’t be back anytime soon

A bit pricey, but everything is these days. It's worth the price tag... never thought I would be paying almost 30.00 dollars for tacos

I had the Birra Tacos. They were good but wasnt the biggest fan of the birra sauce. I think next time I will try the street tacos

I like this place way better than the regular Ted's Escondido restaurants.

You absolutely MUST try the items on the Birria creations menu! Most delicious Birria I've ever had!

Oddly, the bar was unattended for at least ten minutes while I was in line as I was hoping to order from there instead while I was waiting in the main line.

The ordering style is just like a Fuzzy's or the Garage or other places like that. Ted's could take some notes on how to operate this style of restaurant from observing one of them because the ordering line was WAY too slow.

TLDR: a step up from Chipotle/Qdoba

Ted’s has a decently wide menu selection, but is pretty heavily occupied by Tacos and Bowls. Classic fast casual. I got a chicken bowl, plus there is free chips with your order. The bowl was surprisingly good. Great flavors, everything cooked well. A clear step up from what you’d get from a place like Chipotle (Ted’s is also at a higher price point). I would definitely come back here in the future.
