If you’re driving through Oklahoma or, downtown OKC more specifically, you may drive past what might be one of the city’s hidden gems. Masquerading as a commercial office building is Tellers, a 1930s bank retrofitted as a swanky bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown OKC. The setting is beautiful, truly feeling like you’re in an old school bank. The booths lie where customers would’ve cashed checks and talked to tellers (pun intended).

I’ll give the 4-course dinner that I had a 5 out of 10 at the most. The free bread that came out initially was far below average bread standards. I’ll take Texas Roadhouse or Olive Garden bread over it any day. The salad was far from the best salad that I have ever tried. This is a great place to meet up for business meetings, at least that’s the extent of the purposes I’ve had for it, but to the point you can hear the person across from you. May not seem important to some but let a few years pass in age and sound attenuation of a space becomes very important. Not only for communication but one’s own sanity.
