Such a great little cafe/bistro/pastry & coffee shop! This was one of my favorite spots when I visited OKC recently and will definitely go back every chance I get! The place is squeaky clean, brightly lit, cheerful, and just perfect! Highly recommend the Smoked Benedict!! 10/10!!!

My daughter loves this place. The atmosphere is great. It feels like a French cafe. The pastries are all amazing. Fresh macaroons, chocolate mice, pastries, and gelato are on display in a glass case. I have tried most of them, and they taste amazing. I mainly eat the pastry with my daughter, but the salads are great too. The coffee is delicious as well. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this place.

This is a coffee shop, a nice Starbucks basically. Take it for what it is but don’t come expecting a restaurant or even a café. The line moves slowly. Service is at the counter and everything else is minimal. The food is okay but just that and to be paying restaurant prices for minimal service and okay food makes no sense. They were having a lot of issues getting orders right today, they brought me a hot chai when I had ordered iced and when I ordered an iced chai to take home with me, they gave me an iced coffee of some sort. My friend doesn’t drink coffee so it was a wasted $6

This place is so underrated. The pastries are top notch. We have so many good bakeries in this town, make sure to show Gilded Acorn some love from time to time. I went here on a Saturday (free parking downtown all day) and walked right in and was promptly helped. The pastry case looked like something out of a movie. I got a few pastries to go (vanilla rum cruffin, ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, and apple danish). I was very impressed with everything we ordered. I am excited to go back to try some of their savory options and possibly High Tea!

Really bad first experience. Been waited 10 minutes looking at what we wanted, and no one told us where to order or line.. new customer started his order, I told the cashier that ' I was in line, and the cashier was so mean. I asked some questions about pastries/coffees, but she didn't answer me, it was hurtful. I paid $55 isn't free, minimum respect for your new customers.UPDATE: After we got our food, (Everything was so good, latte, cappuccino, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, croissant) We talk with a manager (Alex) she was really nice, she gave us some coffee tries & macaroons (something that I truly appreciate)Thank you so much, Alex, We loved it, we will come back, have a nice day y'all!

Waited well over 20 minutes to receive a bourbon mocha. I ordered a strawberry tart, and received it 20 minutes ago - it was awesome. Ideally I would have liked to have received the mocha and tart together. I'm still waiting for my drink.......

Food and atmosphere were perfect, but workers did not serve us water, and silverwares while other tables were being served. I felt little being discriminated but foods were amazing.

Stopped in here for dessert after having dinner at Tellers. As it was close to closing time you can tell they had been very busy and most everything was gone that was in the case but the manager kindly retrieved some key lime pie from the back for me and it was incredible. Really nice customer service. I also loved the atmosphere. I think it is a bit pricy, depending on what you get.

I work in an office nearby and decided to place a pickup order. I ordered the prime benedict and the southwest salad. Picked up my order on time, everyone I spoke to was friendly. Got to my office and opened the benedict box . . . and there was turkey on it. The prime benedict description says, “New York Strip | Toasted Croissant | Poached Eggs | Roasted Confit Potato | Hollandaise.” I’m attaching the photo of the benedict. No one said anything to me about this change. Also, maybe don’t try the southwest salad. Was a sad giant pile of greens with next to no chicken and barely any of the other items it is supposed to include. I regret not taking a picture of that. I’ve been here a few times and they have been positive experiences before; not sure what happened this time. I tried to reach out to them via the contact form on their website, but got no response. Perhaps I should have called.

My husband and I went here for coffee, order a mocha and a strawberry mocha. We waited 25 minutes and there was hardly anyone there, just for them to give us our drinks barely warm and we can't even tell them apart.

The Gilded Acorn is the perfect place to enjoy an Americano and eclair - alone or with your best friend. I am visiting OKC with a great friend - girls trip! We are from Dallas/Ft Worth and enjoy a wide range of cafes, restaurants, etc. But the Gilded Acorn stands out as a unique and welcoming restaurant- patisserie, anywhere. From cozy ambience of decor - green , white, and black , to the delicious coffee and the cruffin ( croissant dough braided into a muffin shape) buttery, flaky sweet goodness. I returned another day during trip and enjoyed a toasted everything bagel with lox, cream cheese and pickle red onions. I asked if I could add tomatoes and an egg to order. (See photo) The staff responded yes! The staff at Gilded Age are helpful , attentive and welcoming. I already planning a return girls trip to OKC, and the Gilded Acorn will be top of my list of places to eat and to hangout !

? The Gilded Acorn is a great spot in downtown OKC for a quick bite, dessert, coffee or a champaign cocktail.? I had the quiche and a bowl of butternut squash soup—both were incredible!☕️ The Americano and latte we had were on par with any great coffee shop in town.? 10/10 recommend The Gilded Acorn! I’ll be back soon!
