The food was really good, but the over all experience ruined it. From the time we were waited on, there wasn't a feeling of welcome or thanks for coming in. The food wait was long and the service was horrible! Our server not once refilled glasses with water unless we asked. Never came by just to asked was everything fine, or if we needed napkins or anything. The atmosphere wasn't comfortable due to lack of circulation of air along with the constant swatting off of flies. And this was not just our table, but at every table customers were doing the same thing, hands continuously waving over their food. It's a good place for take out, but to dine in. Enter at your own risk.

Southern Comfort at Its Best!
The smothered pork chop over real mashed potatoes was tender and packed with flavor, with gravy that tasted homemade. The green beans were seasoned to perfection, mac and cheese was creamy and clearly made from scratch, and the jalapeño cornbread had just the right kick. On top of the amazing food, the employees were so friendly and attentive—genuinely welcoming and made sure everything was just right. It felt like being treated like family. A must-visit if you’re craving real comfort food with great service!

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered fried chicken online and showed up 15 minutes later, but still had to wait another 20 minutes to get my food. Most of the staff looked miserable and were moving incredibly slow — like they didn’t want to be there. The only exception was one young man who seemed to be doing his best to keep things moving, but it clearly wasn’t enough to make up for the rest.

When I finally got my order, the chicken was undercooked, and the mashed potatoes were so thick I could barely get a fork through them (the gravy helped, but not much). For the price, the quality just isn’t there. You can get much better food faster and cheaper at most fast food places. I won’t be ordering from there again.

Some of the best southern dishes I have ever eaten. The smothered pork chops are so tender you can eat with a plastic fork. The cakes are sugar cookies are delicious so be sure to save some room for them or better yet, have it as an appetizer!

I ordered the catfish meal. It comes with one piece, I ordered an extra one ( 2nd piece was very small). It came with 2 sides, I also ordered tea (that tasted soured). I had to wait at least 5 mins for silverware, he laid it on the tray, unwrapped etc (not sanitary), asked for lemon and ketchup, I received that 10 mins or so later, after I finished eating.
When i went to pay, i made the mistake of declining a receipt, just looked at my credit card app and I was charged over $29. The price on the menu showed a much lower amount. Definitely not returning.

Traveled to Oklahoma City from Texas. While here we were looking to try some soul food and stopped here. The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious, the service was great. Everything about this experience achieved our expectations. Thank you guys for good service and good food.
