This was the best meal I had in OKC. The big ass grilled cheese with bacon and a side cup of tomato soup was delicious and instantly brightened my day. I also tried the okie poutine, which was savory, creamy and flavorful and an excellent side for my sandwich. The portion sizes were bigger than I had anticipated. The service was also great and it felt like a hometown bar with a great selection of alcohol and food. I would go out of my way to come back.

This is probably a great in-person place! I ordered delivery and they were generous and careful with my requests. However, (perhaps due to the travel time and ordering during Sunday brunch) the burger patties were overcooked/dried out and the poutine had egg shells in it. It seems like it would be good for heavy hangover delights.

I always love The Mule whether I'm eating inside or out. They have the best gluten free bread. It's one of my weekly sandwich stops, for the food and service.
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options. The vegetarian options are good as well.

I have ordered delivery several times from The Mule but they can never get my order right. I always order the Chicken Caesar salad with extra Caesar dressing. When I get the delivery, there is no dressing...or no chicken for the salad. There is always something missing from my delivery order. Every time without fail. And it is an easy order. I have never gotten my order with all the food items that I ordered. I give up. I don't think I'll ever order from The Mule again.

The sandwiches here are amazing. They have the best fried okra, by the way the okra tasted, I'm certain it was fresh, never frozen. They also have a nice mixed drink selection. The service was great, but I never really knew who my server was. There was a different server every time at my table checking on us.
