Seafood and the atmosphere here is better than most. Dropped in on Mon I think. Looking forward to coming back with my relatives. The place has a nice atmosphere.
I miss this place sooooooooo much. When will it open back up?!?!?!
Seafood and the atmosphere here is better than most. Went there on a Friday I think. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. Prices are appropriate. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.
seafood... my favorite treat. Two thumbs up for this place. The staff was very sociable and kind. Prices are decent.
Seafood at this location - very tasty. Visited about four, it was not full. The service was very friendly and attentive. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.
Very unpleasant. Food was way overpriced and not very good. My wife ordered the king crab boil and they brought her 1 leg cut into odd pieces. I sent it back. I ordered the seafood platter and the best thing on it was the frog leg.
Great food.... Surf and turf delicious and the oysters on half shell were awesome
Love this place. Fried shrimp is outstanding. Love the shrimp creole and red beans and rice too.
Lobster bisque delicious. I also loved their stuffed catfish. Good calamari and alligator bites yummy.
Really enjoyed the food here. Tried the stuffed snapper. It was quite good. Planning to visit again sometime and give their blackened salmon a try. The red beans and rice are a definite side choice tho. They were amazing.

Amazing place! I ordered the Étouffée, which I've never had, and it was incredible. The service was top notch and the price was on point.
This longtime favorite has gone downhill Not having visited in a while todays experience was a disappointment. Efficient but uncordial staff. Burned coconut shrimp as well as the fried green beans. However fries were undercooked and mushy. Crab bisque was tasty but served lukewarm. Sad to see this once iconic place decline
I have finally given this place enough chances. Will not be back until I know management changes. Was mediocre last two times I was in. My friend wanted seafood, so we thought we would try it again. Mistake......big mistake. Expensive for what it was &60+ for lunch after tip. They didn't have crackers for crab........had to wait awhile AFTER food brought out. For them to wash one, they said. Really? Shrimp cocktail was edible but definitely not fresh. Not spoiled but definitely OLD. Brought that to server's attention.....attitude...meh. I had hoped she would bring manager by to discuss......just wanted to let someone know. Didn't care if discount or removal....actually was trying to help. Also, brought NOTICEABLY old lemons by for tea......brown on outside skin. Cut off the obviously old, dry part.......do you think server would address or notice.....................Guess. What's funny, is their restaurant on Memorial or by Memorial, I have had better food and experiences. Big dichotomy in restaurants.
We love raw oysters, so were skeptical about the Shack Oysters....topped with crab meat, a shrimp, white wine and parmesan cheese, then grilled.....they are outstanding! The oyster at the bottom of all that deliciousness is like a warm bonus!
Nice environment. Great service. Yummy food!
