The Wedge used to be our go-to for great brick-oven pizza with unique topping choices and excellent appetizers. However, this visit was incredibly disappointing. The menu seems to have changed and no longer includes our favorite salad and the topping choices were more limited. We chose two signature pizzas from the small selection and were informed that they could not make either because they didn’t have the ingredients necessary. We changed our order and were underwhelmed by what we received. While the brick oven still makes a great crust, the toppings were lacking. I felt bad for the staff as it seemed the restaurant was not well equipped. Hope to see the Wedge make improvements to their menu and management to make the best use of their beautiful brick-oven, but we will not be rushing to return.

Holy heavenly calzone (the kitchen sink) swapped pepperoni, sausage and jalapeno for brisket, prosciutto and roasted Roma tomatoes. Their house marinade is amazing I do not like marinade normally, added balsamic vinaigrette and a little salt insane marinade. Only negative most places will switch toppings at no charge or just an up charge. Which brisket and prosciutto were $3 toppings instead $2 but vegetable topping were the same so that should have evened itself out. But to add $10 for four toppings on your most expensive calzone is excessive. Which was reflected in only a 10% gratuity otherwise I would have given 20-25% overall net would have been the same cost to me.

I've been coming to The Wedge weekly for about a year now, and I'm sad to see the service decline so significantly. My order has been incorrect on my past three visits, and today our cards were mixed up after handing them to the server to pay. Service is slow and there seems to be high turnover in wait staff. The food is excellent, but I can't get past the inconsistent issues in service. Sad to say I think it's time for a new lunch spot.

Sadly it was such a disappointment. We ordered the wedge bread which was so dry. It was like crust with sprinkle parmesan. No taste at all. I was hoping for some thick gooey or at least some sort of oil or moisture... When I say it was like eating crust with sprinkled parmesan, that's exactly what it was like but with entirely no taste at all.The pizza we ordered was just pepperoni and it too was a disappointment although it was better than the wedge bread and still feel short. We won't return or recommend

We were so excited to try the prosciutto frommage! We had a similar pizza at a place in Norman, and we hoped to replicate it with this particular pizza at a place closer to home. The wings were good. An extra minute or two, and they would have been less tough. We ordered Buffalo and the Barbecue. Both flavors and sauce were on point, but napkins were limited. We had to ask for them, and no wet wipes for our sticky hands. I come from the Midwest, but I grew up Southern. That surprised me.The pizza crust was very good. Could have used some garlic or butter/oils, but good. The pizza itself lacked sauce and was quite dry. We ordered the frommage pizza with fennel sausage and goat cheese in addition, and that made it dryer still. The prosciutto was done well and could have been under the cheese with the garlic oil or some kind of sauce. Essentially cheese bread and a salad that fell off upon serving. It was missing the sauce!Garlic knots were a win, and this girl is always down for some diet Dr Pepper! Heck yeah! The look and feel of the place was really nice and quaint, and a convenient location in OKC. I think with some small changes in sauce/flavor elevation and customer service anticipating your needs without the multiple asks on a slow night is just what you need to take this restraunt from so so to hell yeah!Enjoy ♥️

Went before a concert with some friends and family. I'm hypoglycemic, when I got there my blood sugar was on the low end. I browsed the menu and was very excited to try the Italian beef sandwich as I have never had one. The waitress took our order, I asked for no onions if they weren't cooked, and ordered a Paloma. My company ordered multiple pizzas and a salad. The waitress did not know the menu, which became obvious upon placing our order as she had to have us show her multiple items to on the menu to know how to write them down. Pizzas and salads come out in a somewhat timely manner, my sandwich however does not. I wait patiently, assuming that she needed to return to the kitchen since her hands were full. She does not return. I continue to wait. My blood sugar is dropping rapidly, and I am begining to feel unwell. She has not returned for ten minutes at least, I go inside (we were on the patio) and ask about the status of my food. She says "they are trying to figure out how to make it now". This answer perplexes me but I return to my table after telling her I am desperately needing my order so that I do not become very sick. It still takes at least another five minutes. The sandwich comes out, there are raw onions on it as well as the salad. I remove them, and tell the waitress that I asked for no onions, she said they were cooked, I ask if she can distinguish between the raw onions from the salad and the ones from the sandwich that I have placed on the same plate, she cannot because they are in fact, not cooked. The sandwich is bone dry, there is no horseradish sauce as described on the menu. I ask the waitress for the sauce, she says they do not have it and argues with me about wether the sandwich comes with the sauce or not. I show her the menu description. I convey to her at the end of the meal how incredibly dissatisfied I am with the entire experience, she does not care, nor does she attempt to rectify this in any way. A manager should have spoken to me regarding the unfortunate experience, but it seems there is no manager even on the premises. They charged me full price, for an incorrect, incomplete, late, dry, flavorless sandwich, and piss poor service. Fourteen dollars plus my drink, which is the only thing that kept me from flying off the handle. I'd say I should have ordered a pizza but it looked mediocre at best. My brother had to go inside to ask for silverware and ranch after requesting them initially. Probably an off night, but I will assume this is just how they do business. Terrible, over priced, dry, bland food and incompetent wait staff with zero damage control skills. I don't need a free meal, but I DO need accountability. I waited to write this review so I wouldnt be hot headed, I am still very upset about the ordeal. Will not return, would not recommend, deeply regret going to begin with. Zero stars.

I have been a patron of the wedge for years and have enjoyed their gluten free and dairy free options, happily paying the extra 4 dollars for gluten free crust. Tonight I was told that they changed their policy and any additional toppings not listed for the pizza mentioned would be an additional 3$ charge, even removing toppings from my pizza would cost an additional 3$. In this economy I cannot afford to eat there any more, unfortunately. My 8” in diameter pizza would have cost me 21 dollars when it was all said and done while my husbands unedited large pizza would have been 16. Our waitress was very apologetic and polite, management you can do better, it shouldn’t be a punishable offense for asking for a toping to be removed or substituted due to an allergy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options available for a considerable up-charge.

We went here on a busy Friday night. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful and the food came out fairly quickly considering the crowd. We got a pepperoni calzone and it was delicious. The ONLY thing we both thought on it was that it needed a little more sauce, couldn’t really taste the sauce. We also got the chicken Alfredo and the flavor was great but it definitely needed more sauce, it was fairly dry. But, all in all, we recommend this place for sure. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good and we absolutely couldn’t have been happier with the wait staff! We will definitely come back next time we are in the city!

Excellent pizza!! We got “The Kitchen Sink” and it was delicious. We also got the garlic knots and they were delicious as well! Small seating inside, but plenty of outdoor space! They have gluten free crust as well.

Cozy/chill wood fired pizzeria in the heart of the city. The crust is on point and the sauce is well balanced. I even like the sauce.

Very underwhelming. 10 years ago this place was so so good and very cute for date night. Now it's just like any loud casual pizza place with bad pizza. Italian stallion was pitiful. Ground up sausage light scattered among tiny pieces of mozzarella that didn't cover every slice. And there was a dash of red sauce. Truffle shuffle was better but not by much. I think I got one bit or two of truffle oil. The chicken tasted canned and the flavor just flopped. Won't be coming back:/

From the perspective of a 60 y.o. San Franciscan, I can honestly say this is one of the top two best pizza restaurants in Oklahoma City so far. The near perfect texture, thickness and taste of the crust makes the Wedge's pizza stand out. Our family has been to the Western Ave. location three times and didn't know the existence of another location. Service was average with nothing to complain about.
