Fun place to try out unique Native inspired dishes. The corn ribs were so delicious. So many items on the menu sounded delicious but we went with the Bison BBQ and the Stew with Bison sliders!

Brunch was amazing and Joshua knocked it out of the park. The smoke signal is my new favorite cocktail. OKC you’re missing out on an absolute gem. Love the indigenous twist that reminds me of growing up on the rez while still being very nice.

I’m so sad that 39 Restaurant at the First Americans Museum is permanently closing 4/28! We had an incredible brunch, the food and people were absolutely amazing! Our server and the Chef came out to tell me how to use dried hibiscus in drinks/food when I asked where to get hibiscus flavoring! If you haven’t gone, go quick before they close!Blue Corn Blueberry PancakesBiscuits & GravyBlackberry Cobbler with Corn Pastry and Roasted Corn Ice CreamPopcorn Brûlée

The posole is nothing but superb. I loved every bite. Commodity cheese what! I felt like a kid. The "Skoden" drink was very good.

Extremely disappointed! Came here for Easter brunch since I’ve been hearing so many good things. The food is bland and flavorless. The fruits looks dry and old like it’s sitting out. The “shaved” turkey is really just chopped up deli meat. This place is definitely just hyped up and not worth it. I’m so glad I didn’t talk my whole family into coming here for brunch.

We came for a special dinner pairing with Sky dance brewery (one of our favorites in the city). The beer was amazing as usual, the food was so special. Every course was better than the last. The service was top notch. We will be back.

Loved the food! I tried a few things and the jicama roasted beet salad and the creme brulee were the highlights!!! Absolutely topnotch and super memorable!!
Vegetarian options: I follow a vegetarian diet and the menu has clearly labeled vegetarian options (about 5-7 dishes). Also, a couple of selections are vegan. I really wanted to try their hummus, but it was unavailable when I visited, but I reckon it might be amazing as all the other things I tried.

I was so excited about visiting and our experience was less than stellar. The hostess didn't speak to us, ignored us for a long time(even after 2 other employees pointed us out). Then she sat us at a table for 4(party of 5) when there were large round tables that would have sat us better(like 3 empty ones) and 3 or 4 large rectangle tables that would fit us.Our waiter didn't really talk with us...at all. He basically ignored us and talked to all the employees instead of waiting his table. We sat at our table or waited in the lobby almost 2 hours. The food tasted good, but wasn't hot. I probably wouldn't have even noticed the temperature had anything else in the visit been enjoyable.I'm so disappointed that our monthly family outing was spent here.

39 blew our minds away. We got the hominy hummus with fry bread, the biscuits and gravy, the blue corn blueberry pancakes, and the cheesecake, all of it was PHENOMENAL. Our server Josh was also amazing. We’ll be coming back to OKC just to revisit 39 if no other reason.
