Tropical Smoothie Cafe

This is hands down the worst Tropical Smoothie location in the city. Not only did the delivery driver completely ignore the instructions to hand me the order—choosing instead to dump it on the porch in 90-degree heat and vanish—but the store also failed to fulfill the order correctly, leaving out one of the smoothies entirely. What’s even more infuriating is their complete disregard for basic customer service. Try calling the store? You’re greeted with a voicemail that flat-out tells you they don’t answer phones and directs you to drive to the store yourself to let them fix the order they should have gotten right in the first place. I’m in a wheelchair. If I could have driven to the store, I would have. Instead, I trusted their process, and I was completely let down. Even worse, because I used their app, DoorDash won’t lift a finger to help, even though they handled the delivery. So I’m left with an incomplete order, no way to talk to a human, and no refund in sight. This isn’t just a mistake. This is a reflection of a business that lacks accountability, professionalism, and any sense of pride in their work. It’s unacceptable, it’s careless, and it shows they simply don’t care about their customers. Avoid this location. They’ve earned the reputation of being the worst.

Apparently shrinkflation is alive and well here. Definitely won’t be coming back if this is their new standard.

I'm not sure if every Tropical Smoothie uses the same measurements, but gave me a Smoothie that tasted just like water.

My smoothie was chunky. It was not blended well at all. When I finally got one sip, there was barely any smoothie and only ice and banana chunks. They also didn’t spell my name right. Do better tropical smoothie!😡

Never in my 62 years of life have I ever witnessed and heard such a horrible circumstance while enjoying my smoothie !!… Management is horrible here. I was in the lobby the other day and overheard what I believe was the manager it was, going off on one of their employees. Not a safe environment for anyone to work in. I hope whoever was getting scolded by him, leaves this toxic environment! I will gladly take my money elsewhere. I do not tolerate any kind of negativity no matter where I go as a customer. Everyone deserves kindness.

My favorite place for a smoothie and wrap plus they have great rewards! I go at least 1x a week

Large ice chunks left in the drink. Constant crunching on ice. Not good. The blender must be going bad.

Update: They did contact me eventually on the order and helped out. It seemed better next time I went.

Update: I did give this location another chance and unfortunately they did get my order wrong again. The server was very nice but refused to provide receipt, and this was around 8:30 so by the time I returned home to discover this was the wrong order, not able to return due to closure. I did call the store before close and there was no answer. I did provide feedback via a form that Tropical Smoothie had sent me and unfortunately yet to hear back. Sad I can’t return there any longer due to being treated that way. I can’t pay this much and be given the wrong order and no chance at a refund or response.

On a side note, I had ordered the quesadilla and there were all sorts of random things in it that didn’t appear to belong such as a black bean and pieces of chicken and rice when this was supposed to be a cheese only quesadilla. It had me doubting everything.

Original review: Frustrated, I come here all the time but it isn’t consistent service or quality. It sometimes takes a really long time to get your order (30+ mins) and at times is wrong or is messy. Usually ok, but you never know!

The Lavender shimmer smoothie (with No Coconut for me) is soooooo good. I loved it. They are very slow here but the smoothies are good.

Absolutely disappointed in how the supervisor and general manager treated me yesterday and today. I come to tropical smoothie at LEAST 3 times a week. Yesterday I called to make a Togo order, they said they don’t do call ins, I told them they do I’ve been here multiple times, the supervisor argued with me. So I did the justice of calling other stores to ask because I always have called in. The other stores confirmed there is a button to take call ins. So I called this morning to speak to the manager, they BOTH argued and treated me horribly over not wanting to take my order. Wouldn’t go here honestly due to costumer service issues. I spend hundreds of dollars here and recommend tropical smoothie to all my friends. Will not be going here anymore.

I will start by saying I have been to this location before and it was pretty good. This time however was a bit dissatisfying. The cafe was pretty messy and my smoothie was probably the nastiest one I’ve had in the 12 years I’ve been a customer at TS. Huge ice chunks, banana and whole oats. I literally just threw it away. You could tell it was not right by the top of the smoothie so I’m surprised they handed it off it me. I didn’t notice the taste until I got in the car and after getting my kiddos in and out of the car I decided it wasn’t worth it. A young guy working there was lovely but you could tell the cashier just didn’t want to be there. Probably won’t be back at this location
