Second time to go it was very nice and food has been great. This time we did breakfast and it was amazing. Last time was lunch and it was equally delicious.
Did not ‘love' charcuterie board; needs something sweet like fig jam or your house jam; variety wasn't great—pickles, olives, capers and more olives. I won't order again. Everything else was great—other food, wine and service!
Took 1 1/2 hrs to get food House wine that was bitter was $15 a glass Very dry cold bread is extra.
The menu looked great, but the execution was awful. We ordered the duck confit and it looked like chicken nuggets, tasted worse. The Caesar salad had beans or something odd. The scallops came on a grit cake that took up most of the plate, and the scallops were not fresh. We had a show to go to so we didn't want to go through the trouble of sending the food back, which we didn't feel comfortable doing anyways. The service was very friendly, however.
My husband and I tried new dishes based on recommendations from the waitress (which we asked for)...the Chalkboard and a Chilean Seabass dish and both were excellent. The waitress (Ashley) was very friendly and provided great service. They even surprised us with an anniversary dessert! We definitely recommend this restaurant!
The service and food were outstanding. Scallops cooked to perfection and the braised short rib was so delicious. We started with spicy tuna roll and it was superb, finished off with ice cream which was perfect size scoop after eating so much food. The atmosphere is elegant and low key; which at my age makes it nice to relax and have good conversation. No shouting or noisy neighbors right on top of us. I sure hope they stay for a long time. Will definitely return! Thank you Chalkboard staff!
Going during lunch and the pick two. The Fried Green Tomato sandwich is one of the best things I've ate in 2025! Great wine selection and reasonable by glass price
I had the chicken sandwich and it was amazing, and my bartender - Hunter -was awesome and I look forward to having him serve me again!
Just left dinner…. Nice ambience, wonderful service from Ericka and a good wine by the glass list.
Ordered the double end pork chop as the entree. It was TERRIBLE!! Chewed
Like shoe leather… couldn’t wait to get home to some floss!!
Never had an issue with the Cafe Cuvee dinners. Scratched off this restaurant from our list of restaurants.
Very cute restaurant. Food at lunch is meh. Escargot was pretty bland. Ceasar tasted like watered down lettuce. Drinks were good (if you mix them). Sandwiches were OK.

The food was delicious, atmosphere is cozy and service was special. I recommend a reservation since the dining room is intimate.
Had a great time here with my friends, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was quiet enough for conversations
Arianna is outstanding. Superior service, great recommendations, felt like we were her only customers even though she was busy. Best service ever!!!
The food was amazing and so was the service.... can't wait to go back!!!!
There were 10 of us for Mother's Day Brunch. Food was good, drinks were good, ambiance was great. Justin who was helping out our server was Ah-mazing. Great personality and good vibes. If it weren't for the fact that our actual server kept forgetting things like straws, coffee or even just our food I would have given 5 stars 🌟. Even with that if he had gotten the checks right the first or second time, I would have given 5 stars. The Sous Chef coming to our table was a nice touch. I will be back for a date night.
