Doing drive-through and had to wait for my chicken sandwich to be made. OK, I get it. But then you bring it to me with cold fries made an hour or more ago? This is what higher fast food prices are worth nowadays? Wendy's just ain't what it used to be.

I stopped at the Wendy’s in Edmond recently and had a really solid experience. I ordered a regular cheeseburger for myself and three chicken tender meals for my kids. Everything came out hot and fresh, which is always the first thing I look for when getting fast food. The cheeseburger was simple but satisfying with a soft bun, melty cheese, and a juicy patty that wasn’t dry or overcooked. It had the classic Wendy’s flavor I’ve always liked.

The chicken tenders were a hit with my kids. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and none of them were over-breaded or greasy. The kids’ meals also came with fries and a drink, which made it an easy option for feeding everyone quickly. The fries were warm and salted well, and the portions were generous enough that the kids were full.

The service was friendly and quick, even though it was close to lunch rush. The restaurant looked clean and well kept, both inside and in the parking lot. Overall it was a good visit with no complaints. If you’re near Edmond and need a reliable place for a quick family meal, this Wendy’s is a safe bet.

I said specifically BUFFALO CHICKEN NUGGETS. And I got NORMAL NUGGETS. After he even CLARIFIED that I wanted Buffalo nuggets. Poor attention span.

I eat enough fast food to know what to expect, but this Wendy’s set the bar so low it tunneled under it.

Ordered all chicken nuggets except for one kid’s meal with a plain cheeseburger. The cheeseburger came loaded like a salad bar exploded, and the nuggets? Every single one tasted like chewing on an armadillo’s thigh tough, cold, and suspiciously waiting in a heat lamp purgatory.

We didn’t even wait that long, which means my food was apparently sitting there plotting against me.

One cashier actually worked, while three others leaned against the counter texting like they were unionized phone testers. Forgot one drink, had to ask. No spoons—because apparently this Wendy’s is on a spoon embargo 🤣.

Inside? Gross. With that many staff, that floor should be so clean I could eat my nuggets off it (not that I’d want to).

The kids’ meal ads hyped up a cool frosty-shaped toy, but reality smacked us with…Mr. Potato Head. 🙃🤔 That’s like promising a Ferrari and handing me a tricycle.

And the fries? So cold I thought they’d been sponsored by Elsa. The kicker: right next to the Frosty machine was a sign that read, “Revenge is best served cold.” I get it now, Wendy’s. 💀

Wendy’s doesn’t suck but this location? Needs an exorcism.

Smelled like a dirty fish tank by soda machine. Staff struggled to remember to cook the fries and waited to do so when all our food was ready. So we got cold food. I'll be surprised if this place is open in 6 months. Employees don't care about the place and the girl serving food was picking her skin over people's bags of food.

Went through the drive thru and was told they were out of beef products among other things. There was a list of items they were out of.

No spicy nuggets, out of ketchup, out of nearly all drinks and they act like they do not know how to manage this place. They were not even busy. I had to specifically ask them to replace the ketchup and drinks. They seemed lost and without direction. Floors were dirty. Gone way down hill. Very sad.
