Ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was raw in multiple places. Had to wait a while for server to come around again, they remade it but still not a dish worth $24. Chicken and rice. Friends drink also had a lemon seed in it. When my remade dish came out I wasn’t brought any silverware and the rice also wasn’t with the dish. Terrible dining experience watching my friends eat, then them watching me eat. No discount at all for all that? Calamari portion very small for $15
Good food, great service. HOT on the patio but did have sunshades. E-man was an excellent server. Rolls are decent size and fresh
Made to sit at the bar even though there were open tables. Vast sushi menu. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Cupid roll was heavy on the cream cheese. Volcano roll was spicy but delicious.
Our server Richard was one of the best servers that I have had in years! Knowledgeable, friendly and fast. My spicy scallops were great! The miso crab soup was really good too. Great ambiance and environment, we love to eat outside.
My wife and I drive an hour and a half to Oklahoma City every couple weeks to grocery shop. We always try out a new place to eat and this time we were blown away. Right away we met Andy. Andy was out server and entertainment for the duration of our lunch. The food was great but Andy was even better. He is the reason we will be repeat customers. Ask for him and you will have a wonderful experience.
Since we arrive until we were seated they took a long time, even though their estimate, the one they told us. After that everything was really good. Service, food quality, drink quality. Either sushi rolls or other plates as my friends order are big and nice, really tasty.
Great business to work for and be a part of
My name is Tram and I've worked at Sushi Neko for many years. It's where I've grown the most and where I've been able to find my second family. I started out as a host and was then given the opportunity to be able to serve tables. I was initially a really shy and awkward kid who was fresh out of high school and didn’t really understand the world. However, I was able to grow so much and owe so much to this company. Sometimes, I really do feel as though I was raised here. I am proud to say that I am part of something here and I am so thankful for my coworkers and managers here. To be completely transparent in this, I have really bad depression and anxiety and that can make things really difficult. However, my coworkers and managers have shown me a lot of love and support and a lot of companies do not care about their employees in that way at all. I have been shown real support and care here and I am forever very thankful for that. I truly do feel as though the people I work with and for are just like my family and care about me just as much. Because of being able to work here, I have been able to go to therapy, get medication, put myself through school, support myself independently, and take care of my family. I owe a lot to so many people here. My manager, Midori, in particular, has always been extremely kind and understanding to me. She has never made me feel less than because of my depression or anxiety at all. I have never had my job threatened or felt pressured in any way. In fact, I have never felt such closeness and love from an upper management position like I have here. I am very open with her and my other managers and they are all very understanding and work with me immensely. The managers here will work with your school schedule and your life. They are understanding and caring. All they have ever asked is that I am open and honest with them and they do the same for me as well. I am a very busy school student and I am given the exact schedule I need to succeed both financially and academically. We are given real opportunities to make money, to be supported, and to work. If you work hard, you are rewarded and taken care of. It is very comforting to know that applying yourself really does pay off. I am genuinely thankful to work here and I will continue to do so.
I have done business with Western Concepts for over 5 years. This is the most professional, well run, and friendly restaurant group in Oklahoma. I am such a massive fan of the ownership, management, chefs, bartenders, and wait staff. Best Sushi in not just Oklahoma, but maybe nationwide. I keep trying Sushi all over the country and always find myself saying, it’s just not quite ‘Neko’.
