This is a hidden treasure! Lovely neighborhood and great atmosphere. Excellent food! Very reasonably priced and nice sized portions. Food is really good. I had the flat iron steak po' boy with fries. Sandwich is soft and beat is tender. The fries are really good too. Pretty sure they are double fried because they are crunchy in the outside and soft inside. I did have to add salt to my food but otherwise it was on point. The service is good. Our server was attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Sandwich, water, and a dessert came to $19.
I've been here seven or eight times, and I've brought several guests with me who would not have otherwise visited. Love the friendliness here and the location is perfect for me. The problem is that the food just isn't good. I've tried many different options on the menu, and it all tastes like frozen food. This place isn't going to stay open in such a competitive area unless they start over in the kitchen.
