The carne asada was one of the best I've ever had! The waitress was doing her best for it being thanksgiving and I couldn't say anything negative about the service she provided. The restaurant was very clean and inviting to walk into. I couldn't believe that they weren't more busy as they are deserving of more business. I will return again!!!!😁😁😁😁

Fast & Friendly Service!!! The Restaurant was also clean. I got there at 11 am so it wasn’t busy at all but people kept coming in. I had a Pineapple drink which was delicious!!! The salsa and queso were also good. I had a large menudo with bread and a Barbacoa ? and all were Great!!! My first time eating here and I’m definitely going to come back!!!

Worst experience ever, if I could leave zero stars I would. Service was terrible but tried to understand as a human at first. My bf ordered the chile rellenos and after one bite was very disgusted. When we asked to have the plate taken away and let them know it was not up to par and asked if we could have it taken off. The waitress said “ we can’t do that you chose it so there’s no taking it off but i can take the plate away” assuming it was their policy i had no problem but wanted to talk to the manager to get the $27 plate at least discounted and she rolled her eyes as she walked away. Management came over and we did like our other plates it was the only one we were highly dissatisfied with. Upon paying the same waitress was shorting us $10+ on our change and only fix it when I had brought it to her attention since she was getting changed i figured she was still waiting for it and has not given me the receipt. Upon getting the receipt i have gave her $100 our total was $42.19 and we were only given $43 back and some change. DONT RECOMMEND

This was my first time there and it was amazing!! From the food to the service and even the music was on point!! A special thanks to our waitress Olga!! She took very good care of us and was very attentive to empty glasses and kept checking on us!! I look forward to going there again very soon. I live about two hours away and I’m willing to drive there just for lunch or dinner!! Keep it up, Zapatas!!

Picked up food from here a couple weeks ago. Been meaning to leave a good review. Great food for a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and even surprised us with chips and salsa/queso with our meals. We had tacos and enchiladas. They definitely have the fundamentals mastered with extremely good rice and beans. Next time we visit OKC we’ll definitely be stopping by again, thanks Zapatas!

My family and I came through OKC and we stumbled across this restaurant. It was a good thing too because the food was as close to authentic as you can get. We are from South Texas very close to the Mexico border so we know Mexican food. The staff was friendly, they helped us right away, even though there were other customers in there, the wait time was very low. We are definitely going to eat here more while we are here in town

I don't give 5 stars because the food was not to my liking. I ordered a 7 seas broth, I really don't recommend it, it was tasteless and had a taste like defrosted food and plastic. The burger my son ordered was not tasty, the meat had a slight taste of when the meat is about to decompose. The molcajete that my husband and the The roast dish that my father-in-law ordered was tasty. The service was great, the waitress was very attentive and friendly.
