“I couldn't find barbecue while traveling thru on I-35, so I chose Chicken Express as a local food option. I waited in a bit of a line in my car, a little irritated, not knowing what to expect. I ordered the chicken thigh, leg, a biscuit, and sweet tea. When I bit into the hot, light, thin, crispy, practically grease-free skin and juicy chicken, I regretted not getting a chicken breast. I'd go back. Friendly, patient staff.“

“Hello! Hmm. I was employed there from, Wednesday, August 13th, 1987, until, uh, September or October 10th or 12th, 1999. The date on the last paycheck, is not the day I turned in my resignation. Hmm. My birthday is also in, August. I know a guy born on the 13th of the month. Hence how I remember my first day more than my last day. But anyway, it has been remodeled so much since then, that the kitchen floor tiles, are all I recognize inside. So I no longer feel like I am still in, Pauls Valley, when I visit there now. No flashbacks to when I worked there. Now that Public Smoking is gone, I do feel better in that regard, since I had an allergy sensitivity to it, so I had to complain about their bad habits of smoking while doing food preparation work, et cetera. It looks nicer inside, but I still like salad bars and hate beer bars. But I haven't encountered as many rude drunk customers, as a customer, compared to being an employee. So overall, the current crews seem nicer. No noticed nicotine fits! ☺ The menu items, change a lot more often, then when I worked there. So I feel lost now. The computers, delivery pouches, and other equipment, is much better now. Edit: By the way! The meatballs used to be about the same size as a Golfball or a Table Tennis Ball. Now they are about the size of an Acorn. What happened? Was the shrinkage because without Spaghetti, thete was no need? So like what, now are they meant just for sandwiches and pizza toppings?“
