We come to Chicken Express because my wife likes chicken livers. The trouble is that they are only good if they are fresh from the fryer. So that means we always have to wait for our “fast food”. Most of the time I enjoy dark meat pieces. The ones I had here were overcooked to the point of being dry white meat.I think it is underhand to charge extra for credit card use without posting it prominently at the point of sale. Good food that is always hot when we order... 3 stars because they charge you for using a card to pay and dont tell you unless you ask about it (at least in our experience). We usually have a fairly large order when we come in and paying an extra fee because we use a card feels like we are being ripped off. Not everyone carries cash nowdays.

Drive thru service. We arrived second in the drive thru. We sat close to 10 minutes before the truck ahead of us placed his order. That person was very upset screaming at the intercom.
