When you order chicken and beef teriyaki sticks (appetizer) one would expect teriyaki sauce on the meat and veggies, there was NONE. When you order CRUNCHY chicken, one would expect a crunchy batter (per the written description) on the chicken - nope there was some sort of slimy thick coating. The only dish that was good was the chicken fried steak.

This place is a hidden gem in Piedmont. The food is exceptional. We go there often as the Chinese is great. American is great. All is great!!
Nothing bad on the menu and the variety is absolutely amazing. The fluffiest pancakes with an egg roll on the side with a sushi roll. Chinese is fresh and delicious, burgers are great, breakfast it huge. You can't go wrong here.

I have tried many things on the menu now. Both Oriental and American dishes. They have been very good, both in flavor and quantity and always consistent. In my opinion, this is what makes a normal restraunt into a great restraunt. You can not go wrong by eating here, any time of day. Service is very good also. Thus...the 5 stars!

I hate to downgrade my review but the service here had really gone downhill over the past couple of years. We used to love seeing our favorite waitresses on our weekend visits. The current waiters are more interested in texting on their phones than serving coffee refills. The food is still decent, but the service has become "meh" at best, and there are a lot of other places around town that serve decent food with much better service. Our weekly visits have dropped to once every-other month.
