I ordered 5 cakes for our wedding, all of which were amazing and our guests raved about. For some reason, the cake we cut into was never served so we decided to wrap it and freeze it for our anniversary. Today we celebrated one year of marriage so I thawed it out. I had low expectations because I’ve always heard the cake you save is not good, but it literally tastes the same as it did on our wedding day!! Totally recommend Banana Crate for all your cake needs!

Everything we tried here is amazing! The cinnamon streusel banana bread, blueberry banana bread, pecan pie bars and strawberry banana bread were so delicious!! The owner is very friendly. He let us pick the loaf/piece that appealed to us. We will definitely go back!

Tucked away, the location is surprising when you come in. A tropical theme and decor is prevalent throughout your experience. Most of the baked goods have banana bread as the base, which is built on delightful varieties of flavors. My favorite, though, are the mini keylime pies (since I'm a Florida boy, originally). And the cookies are very good as well. Don't miss this small but delightful bakery, you'll love it. They can cater desserts as well as counter sales.

I can't describe how elated I feel in having found The Banana Crate today. In a single visit, it became my favorite bakery, and I feel blessed to have it located so close to home. One of the things that makes life worth living , in my opinion, is meeting passionate people and food made with love. I found both today in one place. Steve was so 5 his confeccionaries are truly and divinely homemade. They are very reasonably priced, and they made me feel the love of a baker and of family, beyond being tasty. I couldn't help but try everything they had, and I absolutely loved every one of the breads, the cheesecake, the cookies, the pecan and the lemon/lime confeccionaries. Doubtless, the other items on the menu are just as good. This place is a gem, and if you're visiting or living in Ponca, I recommend stopping in!

Every cake is always perfection and the customer service can’t be beat! Try their pecan pie bars or key lime cheesecake cups. Our son is a fan of their sugar cookies. We often buy them and give them to friends. You will never go wrong if you order from The Banana Crate! (Pictured is my beautiful mom with her favorite kind of birthday cake: white wedding cake!)
