The Peach Barn - Orchard & Bakery

Great place!

Must go see the peach barn!!! Great bakery, even serve lunch. Canned items galore. Fresh fruit, too. They even have samples of some of their items.

Best peach pies ever!

I visit this place about every two-three months... The more I visit, the less I like it. I always take home a small cobbler or two for gifts or special occasions. The last time I visited this place, my grandma and I ordered a peach sundae... It's supposed to be peach ice cream with peach topping. Upon receiving it, I knew immediately it wasn't correctly made. I tasted it and went up to the counter to ask what the topping was... They said "it's (something), sorry we ran out of the original topping". It tasted like peach syrup, and nothing like the original. I would've appreciated knowing they were "out" of a product before they tried to concoct something new that was nowhere close to what I ordered. This current visit, we walked in and I was excited to see they had a small cobbler available in the case. We are the only people in the store, and as we walk up to the register (just before ordering), the worker behind the counter removes the cobbler, takes it to the back and uses a measuring 1-cup scoop to place one piece of cobbler in a clear to-go container. I then asked, is there any more cobbler in the back, the worker says "I don't know, I saw this one up front but I'll go check. No we are out"... Really? I was going to buy that cobbler to gift it back home. "Sorry, our hand pies are the same recipe, you can buy some of those"... That was the end of that exchange, but my thought was, if they're the same recipe why wouldn't you use one "hand pie" to serve in the to-go container you just used.

The homemade pecan toffee, candy cane fudge, and chicken sandwiches are amazing! An all around good atmosphere and has a gift shop! Also has local honey too!

Really cute place! We had the peach shake and it was delicious, but wish the portion size was a little bit bigger for the price. Parking lot was a little congested.

Wife and I dropped in to check the place out! While she was busy shopping I orders to peach cobblers with peach ice cream and it was delicious highly recommend!

This is a difficult review for me to make. I talked this place up over and over to everyone based on past experiences. I traveled there last weekend with 5 people and was so excited to showcase what I had experienced in the past, however, I was embarrassed at my decision. We got there and wasn't really greeter and welcomed but understand people being busy. We tried various things from the menu. The shake was really good, but subpar to previous trips, the food was the issue. The burgers were great, however, the 2 chicken choices were biggest mistake. Took back twice do to being under cooked and pink. They remade but came back under cooked again. Yes they were understanding but did not feel they cared much about the undercooked meat. The prices were very high but was ok as I was excited about the past experience and then just not receiving anything like that. I won't go back nor will promote them again. Thank goodness the amish store down the road turned the trip around.

I really like this place. I get my dill garlic here, yummy! There's many other good things here. Better come find out!

Love go on here for my fresh veggies and the peach fried pie there are so many things here plan on spending a little while looking over the salsas, jellies and jams, the fresh cheeses, the fudge etcetera
