Came here looking for an iced coffee and received a whole lot more! Not only was my coffee delicious but the entire restaurant was beautiful. The decor, history, patio, and customer service were beyond my expectations. I’d definitely come back any day for lunch or just a coffee date. Poteau definitely needs a place like this to liven things up. Would love to come again soon!

Visiting from Katy, Texas, and stopped in after church to eat lunch! The chicken salad on sourdough was amazing… it’s nice to have real quality food! The atmosphere and the genuine kindness of everyone made me feel welcome and truly valued as a person not just consumer! Hope to make many, many future visits!

Eight Forks Ranch Cafe is a new restaurant in Poteau that has quickly become a favorite. The beautiful decor, history, patio, and customer service go beyond expectations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with tall ceilings and a bright, cheery ambiance. The staff is courteous, friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making everyone feel welcome. The menu is diverse, offering items like the BLT, Greek salad, chicken salad on sourdough, paninis, and coffee. The sourdough homemade bread and sandwiches are excellent, and the coffee is delicious. One guest noted the BLT could use more bacon. The owner does not hide that it is a Christian based restaurant, and it began as a homeschool based project. It is a wonderful establishment for lunch, a coffee date, or relaxing on the back patio. There is nothing like this in Poteau or the surrounding areas, and it is highly recommended for something on the light side, healthy, and tasty.
