Best BBQ WE’ve ever had..the last 6 years every time we have come through Pryor from Illinois to Texas we have had to stop here. We are on our way home from Texas going to Illinois today and had to stop! Still as good as it’s always been! My dad always says they ain’t afraid to feed ya !Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the food when I’ve brought them :)
Always hit JLs when I'm in Pryor... where else can you get a healing plate of bbq at a very reasonable price? And I mean healing... from the shaved beef on to of the double handful of battered potato wedges, overflowing baked beans or coleslaw. There's always been plenty to take home for another meal or 2!I've had the hot link, sausage, beef and ribs...only complaint would be that I wish it had more of a smoke flavor on the beef. I grew up eating at this place, then moved from Oklahoma. Every BBQ place I've ever eaten at I've always compared to JL's. Nothing has come close. I recently moved back and it like I never left. Still hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. Not to mention some fantastic sides.
