The bar is kinda iffy, but the food is quite good. We ordered a mango Daiquiri, and the tequila mule(I forgot the name) they tasted like cleanser. On to the food. I ordered the Diablo shrimp, out of the park good. And my buddy devoured the shrimp cocktail. We were walking from Houston and we found "EL MAGUEY Mexican restaurant" the wait time was short.Hugo served us, he is an excellent person and the food is very delicious and the price is very reasonable.We recommend it......

Value, service, and excellent food for money! We have eaten here a number of times in the past year. When we want good food, a low-key atmosphere, and great service, this is the place. Minimal wait times and friendly staff make dining here a pleasure, EVERY TIME! It's one of the few places I still feel like I get what I paid for. Thank you for the pleasant experience.
