The meat was perfect..We bought sliced brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey that melted in your mouth.Dietary restrictions: Part of our family has to eat gluten free..Hogs mix their own rubs and spices..Meat is wonderful. The pit master is great. The meat has always been tender and aromatic..and safe for those with food allergens..Gluten free and no MSG..
I came here with a group of about 40 people on a church mission trip in the area. We like to go out for a barbecue night while we are in town, and Hog's is absolutely one of the best if not the best barbecue joint I've been to on one of these trips.We called ahead and they were nice enough to block off about half the restaurant for us to ensure our group could sit together. Best bbq around as far as I'm concerned. Thoroughly enjoyed everything I've had here - ribs, smoked chicken, smoked bologna. Don't sleep on their sides either - great fries and even collard greens (so yum!) I also don't eat here without asking for some white sauce to dip my fries in (or anything really).
