Coming from Texas and looking up the amazing reviews about Gusto. I decided to try it and ordered chicken kabab to go, I was parked on the street I killed the whole plate before I left, the food was soo delicious, I am a very picky foodie but I can promise you Gusto restaurant will always be at the top of your list for Kababs. I lived in the bay for about 20 years and moved to TX. No restaurant beats Gusto …. Treat yourself and visit this restaurant.

We moved to the area about six months ago. On our first day in town we stopped at Gustos for the buffet. Line at the pizzas was long, so I just grabbed a salad, noodles, and some chicken bits. Wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about..It's a decent size buffet.we were just exhausted. We're not a big pizza family, so didn't give it much thought.

Today was the second time we've gone, and I really feel like we've been missing out big time. Like...Shockingly tasty.

My son and I got the Spicy Meat sandwiches, and it is right up there in the top 10 of greatest sandwiches we've ever had. We were both impressed and the boy is very picky. Loved the fried jalapenos on it, too. Just a fantastic sandwich. My wife and other son got a 5 cheese and a dill pickle pizza, and they really enjoyed them. I can't wait to go back and try the Steak and Cheese sandwich.

Will absolutely make this a regular stop.

Great food and service. I have an allium allergy and they were very accommodating.

I don't think this community knows what it has. In a land of chicken fried steak, fried cheese sticks, and green beans Gusto's sets itself apart but oddly in a subtle way. Food is so flavorful and good you order more, then get the bill and are I think I'm stealing. I'm not sure but I think wasabi was in my ceasars salad, and it worked. It's a food experience, truly.

Pizza was dry with not much flavor got the shrimp pasta dish (can't remember the name) and it was just ok. Still very bland though

Salads are HUGE! They make their own delicious salad dressings. The skillet lasagna was enough for 2 people and full of flavor.

I ordered 2 pizzas and 2 dinners
I was the worst pizzas I've ever had there. The lack of cheese was unbelievable. I don't know if it was someone new or new policy

I read all the glowing reviews and was ready for an excellent small town experience. It was a complete fail.

I feel like it is a photofinish between Gusto's & your favorite Chef Boyardee canned dinner.

The wife ordered Baked Spaghetti and I ordered Skillet Lasagna. They were both bad... Just bad. I feel for the folks of Shattuck who believe this is a good dining option for them. It's not fair to the people of Shattuck. Gusto's do better... The people of your town deserve better.

Service was great. Many of the gals checked on us regularly. If only the food matched the service quality.

I recently had a short notice catering request. It was ready by the time I got off work- within 3 hours after I called it in. The food was hot and perfect. The staff is excellent. This restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. There’s no other place like Gustos.
