Boomarang Diner - Shawnee (MacArthur)

We drive out of our way and pass by another Boomerang to eat at this one. The food is always perfect! It’s nice that the waitresses aren’t always on their cell phone like everywhere else. They are very attentive and friendly.

Great atmosphere and food. The cheese curds are super good, chicken fry is excellent, side salad is a little underwhelming. Service was quick and orderly, and prices were fair. Definitely going to be returning in the future.

This had a 60's and 70's atmosphere. Had pictures of the singers and movie stars from back then. Played the music from the 60's and 70's. It was decorated to a diner from back then. The food was great and service was great. There is 2 of these diners in this town but this is the one we go to when passing through. This will be the only restaurant I stop at from now own. These other restaurants started out ok but then went down. This one has been consistent. It reminds me of the times watching old movies with my parents when they were alive

They keep you on hold for ever. And when I say ever like 35 min. I get that they are super busy. But they should at least respond to the phone call.

This rating is only for my breakfast of chicken fried steak, hash-browns, and biscuits and gravy. Eggs were a pale yellow and tasted like cold-storage aged. Hash-browns were rubbery and not tasty. Biscuits did not have good flavor nor did the gravy. Chicken fried steak was overcooked and skimpy. Very pricy meal. My wife had coffee which I tasted. It is good. Our two breakfasts cost just over $28.00. Service and atmosphere were very good. Get better quality foods and better cooks. We will not be back.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad , on the menu it's $12 and some change. Asked for 2 small extra cups of ranch and it cost $17 and some change , paying $17 for a salad that barely had chicken in it , a few diced tomatoes and a small sprinkle of cheese. I learned my lesson , better to just go to mazzios for a way better salad ! Service was great though lol 😆

Absolutely a great place!

Tuesday night at 5:30, I ordered 3 beans and cornbread but they were out of cornbread, they have good cornbread, I was gonna go to the other Boomerang but the manger was already on his way out the door to do the same thing. Above and beyond. Didn't see his name tag but it's the guy with a red beard and bald head. Thank you

Food was great but my eggs came with no yolks.
The rest was delicious and the staff were kind.

Glad to have this location back. Just as good as it always has been. Great service and food.
