Wouldn't recommend for vegan choices but I differently found vegetarian options and staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate best they could. Food was delicious and didn't take long to get to the table. Big selection of items especially if you are a meat eater or just vegetarian.
First time to eat here but it's one of my daughter's favorite spots to eat in Shawnee. I had the Shrimp Teriyaki and my daughter had the Steak Teriyaki. Both were delicious! The server was super friendly and the atmosphere is great. I definitely will be going back!
We have been eating at Sakura many times and while most of their food are very good choices. We mostly order their Benton Box Hibachi Salmon which is best, but on the other hand, their Pork Katsu ($18) is Terrible, it's cut so thin that you could read a newspaper if it didn't have the 85 to 90% Breadcrumbs covering the final product. I darn near broke a tooth on the Pork Katsu, it was so over cooked, while I haven't tried the other Katsu Benton Box, I am sure...
