Akeno, Japanese Grill, Sushi and Shabu

My husband and I hoping for a good lunch date. Wonderful service,very clean and friendly. Small language barrier but easily overcome.Fried mushroom and onion soup dishes are so good.Very flavorful,mushroom are crunchy on outside and juicy on inside. We loved our shaggy roll and chicken katsu bento box a try. Give this place a chance you will love it!!!

Great hidden gem off the main road. Came here after OSU game!! Had the best margarita I have had in ages…. I know at a sushi place!!! We sat at the sushi bar, excellent service, light music in the back ground, college ball on TV. Great place, a must visit!!!

First time visit at lunch today. I got the filet mignon special. It was at an incredible price, tasty, served with amazing fried rice and soup. I highly recommend!!

I knew it was gonna be amazing. And it absolutely was delicious. I loved the onion soup and salad. I ordered the Teppanyaki Chicken with fried rice and it was the best I've ever had. The chicken was amazing and perfect and the rice was 10/10. If I could give more stars I would. And the service was quick and our waiter was really kind. Totally recommend.

I recently dined at Akeno and it was fantastic! The ambiance was cozy and stylish, perfect for a relaxing meal. I had the Spider Roll, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Went there for dinner with my family place was not busy, clean, and nice we ordered our food the server didn’t really have good knowledge about the menu!

The food took good minute to come out the server did not really check on us or asked if we need refill for drinks ,

I ordered steak and shrimp with fried rice hibachi the shrimp was good the fried rice had burn taste and my steak was raw instead, medium ! The server did not check if the food was cooked good or if the food was good! I had to stop servers to tell her hey my food is not cooked right and her response was oh okay? She did not offer to fix it it anything and she was surprised when I asked her to take off my receipt because it was not cooked right, I didn’t eat, and I had to wait for 30 minimum to get my receipt !! after making it home me and my family had strong pain in our stomachs i will never dine here again

This restaurant is always good. Never had a problem with an order, a sit down meal, or service. This is the best quality sushi in Stillwater! Hands down! In fact, I’m calling in an order now! ?

Today was my first time having sushi. Ordered online and it was delivered to my door. Food was absolutely amazing! Ordered gyoza, veggie roll and the red dragon roll. Will definitely be ordering from here again!!
