Wait was only about 10-15 minutes but man was this place packed and busy as a one arm paper hanger yet the staff was incredibly friendly and upbeat. We ordered our food and although it did take a little longer than they expected it didn’t bother us one bit. Food was right on point I might add but I had a front row seat facing the kitchen and the orders just kept coming out wait staff was moving like a well oiled machine. I complimented the manager tonight because staff will tell you everything you need to know about how a place is managed and I would put any of this locations staff on my team any day. Thank you for making our last night in Stillwater enjoyable Texas Roadhouse. You are doing one hell of job at this location.”

We found the best reviews for Freddie Paul’s so we took a chance and man we were surprised and thrilled to be there! Our waiter was a young OSU student and he was super! Our food was delivered quickly and then the taste buds starting going crazy! I ordered the fried shrimp which were huge!! And scrumptious. I also had the garlic mashed potatoes and a dish of asparagus. The entire experience was fantastic. Best food I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time!! My bride loved her food also. Great food!!! I will say depending on who is behind the bar is whether the chocolate martini is a 7 or a 10. Sometimes the martini is only half full and is made differently based on who is there. The food is amazing! I personally love the caprese pizza, the spinach artichoke dip, or the meatballs. But you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is very observant. They always come around to check on us and constantly make sure we are not short of waters. I love the outside patio and the harp player they have come play music on select nights. With how often we go the staff has become very personal and remember our go to orders. Thank you Walker for always checking up on us!”

“I just visited Cafe Mona, located at 211 N Perkins Rd, Ste. 30, Stillwater, Oklahoma. It is the former location of Boba Fusion and is newly remodeled. I have wanted to check it out for some time because of the great reviews! I like the previous decor, but the new look has new possibilities! The new look is brightly lighted, with tables spaced appropriately. The waitress was new but was able to answer all my questions. We started with a Mango Mimosa! The Mimosa was not weak, but not super strong either; however, they only started serving alcohol yesterday. The Chips and Salsa were good, but the salsa portions could be larger. The tortilla chips are homemade and flour-based. Very good! Everything else was portioned great for me! The second drink I ordered was a Senorita Margarita with one extra shot; it was perfect! The quality of a margarita can make or break you! Regarding my palate, I think the best-frozen margarita in town is Mariachi Grill. However, it is important to note Cafe Mona is still waiting on their machine to make frozen margaritas, so we will have to wait to check them out! My meal was better than expected. I had the Alex Comal. Alex Comal is a house chili pineapple marinated in an Al pastor pork skillet, topped with white Queso, and served with cilantro lime white rice, black beans, and tortillas. It was served sizzling hot, and not only did not disappoint but exceeded my expectations. I cannot believe the restaurant was not full. I also tried a side of Plantains while I was there, and they were excellent! The service was excellent, and the waitstaff was friendly and had just the right amount of interaction. Students, this would be a great place to do a fundraiser for your organizations! There is Plenty of space, and I believe it is locally owned! Many places will allow you to have an event night to raise money. A good approach is to invite people to your fundraiser and ask the business to donate a percentage of those pretax sales back to you, usually 8-10 percent. It is worth asking. That is my two cents, and I will definitely return to check out the frozen margarita!”

When I went to pay, the young lady greeted me enthusiastically and when she noticed that I had points I could use, she asked me if I’d like to use them to pay for my sandwich!
