“We have now had two parties at Smokin Joe’s. They have a great room off of main dining area for use. It is a nice size. We have had a great time both gatherings. The food was great and you got way more than you need. Service was excellent as well. Thanks Smokin Joe’s for a pleasant experience. We will be back again.“

“This is hands down the #1 Brisket place i have ever been to, and I've been to almost 100 bbq places accross.the US, no joke. Noone has ever been able to come nearly as close as the perfection they have when it comes to Brisket. I wish I had some good pictures but they were on a phone that broke.
I travel all over and I stop at bbq places everywhere, including 3 others in stillwell and several in ok city. Noone is as good as d's down home.
This place is my number 1 Brisket place of all the states I've visited. Only one place in south Carolina can come as close to bbq perfection as d's down home. I should add the sides were incredible too. The Brisket just overshadows everything because it's absolutely perfect.
They really should get more recognition because the time, love, and patience they put into their food is unmatched.
I wish this place was closer to me because I have been talking about them for a very long time. We even went back the next day just to make sure we weren't wrong. And day 2 the food was just as perfect as day 1.
My buddy richie agrees that this is the number 1 place we visited while in Oklahoma and beats every other place on the entire east coast with exception to 1 (lone star bbq, sc)
Thank you guys for making something so good that I would travel 1,397 miles out of my way just to go there!!!!

“Okay I normally don’t write reviews but I had to because the fake hate comments on here are honestly so gross and obvious.

Karley is AMAZING. Like actually one of the sweetest, most genuine people ever. She works so hard, she’s always nice, and she makes the whole vibe at Dp Dough Stillwater better. I’ve been in multiple times and she’s consistently friendly and professional, there is literally nothing that matches the weird stuff being said.

It’s really gross to see someone clearly making fake accounts just to leave hate reviews about her. That kind of energy is embarrassing and says way more about the person doing it than it ever will about her.

Karley is not only great at her job, she’s an even better person. If anything, she deserves hype, not hate. Dp Dough is lucky to have her.

“100/100!!! Food was amazing and service was even better!“

“Bar lady spilled my drink, wiped up the mess haphazardly so the bar was left damp and by the time my food arrived it was sticky. And I was given a drink that was less than full, and the glass was now sticky. She spilled another man's drink, wiped it up and returned with a sanitized towel to clean it correctly and still didn't try to clean her mess in front of me. Server needs to learn that because a female sits at the bar... doesn't mean we don't tip. She didn't deserve the tip I gave her because I was treated like I didn't matter, but that would have been unfair to the other bartender who did try to help. The food is exactly what I would expect out of a steakhouse.“

“We had two generously sized sandwiches with a basket of hand cut fries. We weren't disappointed. The meats were perfectly cooked, moist, and tender. The fries are very good.

Vegetarian options: I didn't think about it at the time, but they had a three sides special that could easily make a vegetarian meal.“

““My wife and I went to Freddie Paul’s steakhouse last night as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We found the best reviews for Freddie Paul’s so we took a chance and man we were surprised and thrilled to be there! Our waiter was a young OSU student and he was super! Our food was delivered quickly and then the taste buds starting going crazy! I ordered the fried shrimp which were huge!! And scrumptious. I also had the garlic mashed potatoes and a dish of asparagus. The entire experience was fantastic. Best food I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time!! My bride loved her food also. Great food!!! “I just wanted to come here and leave review so Brandi can get all the recognization she deserves.I work at Time to Shine, we get drinks from you guys. And she is always always so nice to us when we come over. Always has a smile on her face, no matter what.She is usually the very first to greet us, and ask what drinks we would like.There was another young lady who watched us walk in, and she proceeded to look at us but no greet us or anything. So brandi showed up after dropping off food to tables she came straight to us.A customer walks in while we are still waiting and she proceeds to then finally walk up go the young man and ask if he is dining in or picking up. But yet she did not help us, just the young man after us.Brandi deserves an absolute raise!“
