The bbq was tasty but not sure how long it had been cooking as it was similar to when I reheat the leftovers. The serving table seems not to be very warm. Might want to check the temp. Bbq sauce was good and there was just enough spice to offset the sweetness of the bbq sauce. I had the chopped brisket sandwich which was today’s special.
This was my first visit to Cherokee Strip. I ordered online and picked up my food from the drive up window, quick and easy. I got a chopped brisket and hot link sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The food was still warm when I got home and the sandwich was great, the mac and cheese was not. I love good BBQ and was very excited to try it but yikes. The chopped brisket sandwich tasted days old and reheated. The BBQ sauce was almost hard. I had make and cheese for the side and it tasted equally terrible. There was so much paprika on top that you couldn't even taste the pasta or cheese. It was like you opened a bottle of paprika and just poured it in your mouth. Very disappointed. :( $13 down the drain.
