First time I came here was with my wife during lunch on a weekend. It was so loud that we had to leave. I just went today, a Friday afternoon for lunch. There were maybe 12 customers in the place. The food was all right but was overpriced by at least 35%. Paid $21.95 for a sandwich in the side. To get the same thing at Swadley's for about $15.95. and Swadley's has a better atmosphere. So, been there twice, ate there once, won't go back.

They have great food, but the service is a little on the slow side. I know it sounds weird to order grilled fish tacos at a BBQ place, but they are amazing!!!!

Stopped in for lunch while in the area for work. I had heard this place was really good. First off I want to say the service was amazing! Extremely helpful, knowledgeable staff that was a pleasure to interact with. It’s walk up order and seat/serve yourself. We had questions and they answered no problem. Now on to the three stars… I ordered the stuffed spud with brisket. My associate ordered the smoked sausage platter with chips and potato salad. The brisket honestly tasted like pot roast. I didn’t get a smoke flavor and it was really dry. The smoked sausage was also not very smoked and was cold. The bbq sauce was delicious. I think that was my favorite item I tasted. I always encourage everyone to form their own opinions but mine is this.. unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning to bad brads. =[

Food isn’t their problem. Their service has been terrible for years and hasn’t gotten any better. Out of our last 8 visits the service was good once. Two of those were call in orders, and neither were the good service. There is one particular woman who does most of the trashy rude behavior -even when she isn’t the employee helping you, she is loud hateful and condescending to the other workers. The food is not worth sitting in that negative atmosphere.

Bummer. Really wanted to like this BBQ.
Ribs were tough, pulled pork was dry, brisket was ok, but not all the hype. The okra frozen and bland, onion rings frozen and the portion was laughable. Oh the large tea lol was in a plastic kids cup. Not only did I have to wait over 29 minutes, I had to remind them I was still waiting for my order, only to receive missing items.
Customer service was bad, very bad. The young lady helping me, rather go outside and visit with her bf than look for my missing items. Only people that seemed nice, were the other customers in the same predicament as I was in. Quite a circus.
So....this is why such a low score. Everything smelled great, but the taste and quality were poor. Do better, BBQ is supposed to be good at par, not what I had. Bad brads, befitting name for the BBQ I received.
Very nice appearance inside and out. I loved that they had old Westerns showing on screens around the room. I always get fried okra when it's on the menu; the fried okra here was the best I've ever had. Bonus points from this Texas Aggie for a picture of OSU @ A&M hanging in the hallway. Can't wait to go back.

TERRIBLE! Waited 1.5 hours and they told us still 7 orders in front of us. Lots of empty tables. BBQ should have already been cooked!! Wasn’t apologetic or seem to care but said we could have our money back.
Amazing food and quality services.. $45 to see some local bands was a little too expensive for me though! I didn't pay that much to see ZZ top! But the food is killer.

Last week we went by on a Friday night and we ordered a slab of ribs. We went here cause usual place ran out of ribs. We drive up and made our order and had three different people within 45min tell us our order was being bagged up and would be out soon. When our order came out we got an apology and we left. It was saltier then the ones we had gotten before and a few of the pieces were like jerky. We were disappointed. Idk if they have a new cook or what but I'm not sure we will try it again.
