I always get the menudo here which is the best in Stillwater. But today... I really wanted chilaquiles and mann that was the best chilaquiles I have ever had. Definitely getting that again!

Love this place. As a gringo from Laredo, I’m a little picky about Mexican food. Mona’s really surprised me. I ordered the Mechaca Norteña con frijoles and it tasted like something I’d get back home and the beans were spot on, not bland like a lot of places north of the Red River.
If you’re in Stillwater and craving legit northern Mexican-style comfort food, Mona’s is absolutely worth a stop.

So we were there trying a new place, it took them about 10 to 11 minutes, literally just to acknowledge us, and then I asked for Horchata, and it was just water. What a terrible place to eat , normally I will give you a rundown of the things that are bad. But I just not gonna waste my time. It’s a very bad place. Don’t go to eat there. There’s amazing Mexican restaurants in Stillwater. If I could give a zero star, I will. Sadly, I bring my friend that is from Mexico , and he was pissed, what a disappointment. Sunday,December 7/2025
