Visiting Stillwater for the day and expected better from this place but came away disappointed. We ordered the beef stroganoff and pecan-crusted chicken. Both portions were rather small and the chicken was dry and tough. The stroganoff was tastier but not worth recommending.
The cafe has a nice vibe and the pastries looked good but the quality and value of the food we ordered was lacking.

My wife and I chose Good Little Eater to cater our wedding and we are so, so glad we did! My mother-in-law has Celiac disease and we were able to make the entire menu gluten-free so she didn't have to be careful about what she ate. We didn't have any strong opinions on what we wanted in terms of food, so we let them put together and menu and they came up with a fantastic set of foods!
We had mushroom crostini appetizers with whipped garlic ricotta on top that the guests devoured. For dinner, they made roasted broccoli, carmelized ginger chicken, and vegetable stack (polenta, squash, eggplant, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, and marinara). We wanted some non-cake desserts and they made pavlovas with strawberry rhubarb sauce and lemon bars, both of which were mouthwateringly delicious!

I love this place, the atmosphere, the food, the people. The have great froze quiches to take home too. The only negative is when you get fresh food to go, it is smaller portions and not as well made as when you eat in. Not sure why that is.

best discovery in my short trip to stillwater. a small cafe with charm and the most enticing display of pastries. the proportions were appropriate for a light lunch and the desserts sealed the deal. i had the little cheever salad and the blackberry cake. they picked the blackberries themselves and whipped the cream on top. first stop i’m going back to if i find myself in stillwater again!

I live to go there for lunch. It is fun for a group, or just by yourself. You can always find someone to talk to. The food is next level fresh and tasty, especially their soups. My mom is CRAZY about their brownies. I am very fond of the peanut butter cookies.
They are not open regularly. However, the bakery is worth our eight hour round-trip from Fort Worth ! That berry crumble will leave you eith an insatiable craving.....

Wish I could have given 5 stars…food excellent atmosphere no complaints, clean inviting etc. Expensive but food is worth it, good portions. Service was absolutely dissatisfying, waited with empty glass for 20 min (I timed it), while staff played on phone and gave attention to empty tables. Was never asked how it was or if everything was ok until I was exiting establishment. I wanted to discuss service before leaving (waited a few minutes more after obviously being finished with meal)but was again ignored. Expected better service in this price range. Will give another try in near future. Hopefully my experience is an outlier.
