best discovery in my short trip to stillwater. a small cafe with charm and the most enticing display of pastries. the proportions were appropriate for a light lunch and the desserts sealed the deal. i had the little cheever salad and the blackberry cake. they picked the blackberries themselves and whipped the cream on top. first stop i’m going back to if i find myself in stillwater again!
I live to go there for lunch. It is fun for a group, or just by yourself. You can always find someone to talk to. The food is next level fresh and tasty, especially their soups. My mom is CRAZY about their brownies. I am very fond of the peanut butter cookies.
Wish I could have given 5 stars…food excellent atmosphere no complaints, clean inviting etc. Expensive but food is worth it, good portions. Service was absolutely dissatisfying, waited with empty glass for 20 min (I timed it), while staff played on phone and gave attention to empty tables. Was never asked how it was or if everything was ok until I was exiting establishment. I wanted to discuss service before leaving (waited a few minutes more after obviously being finished with...
