Smallcakes: A Cupcakery & Creamery

I stop by once or twice a month for the cupcakes, which are good, but this review is dedicated to the ice cream. Hands down the BEST ice cream I have ever had. Creamy, not overly sweet, and freshly homemade. Phenomenal! Sad the Cinnamon Toast Crunch is gone but the cookie butter (pictured) immediately stole my heart.

Went in to use a coupon that was good till May of 2025 and was informed it couldn’t be used due to new ownership, super disappointing.

The BEST cupcakes and red velvet ice cream! We went in on a cheat day and it was the perfect treat! I highly recommend and will be ordering from them soon!

This place is just awful. The new owners treat their employees poorly. This is probably the most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever walked in the past 20 years. To the new owners, do better, be more respectful towards your workers. Keep in mind this is a small town and everyone knows what has been going on. Hope you see this and improve the establishment. Cupcakes are good.

I have been going here for years and this was the first time after the new owners took over. The staff was friendly and the cupcakes were beautiful. Unfortunately the frosting flavor was terrible. We had 3 people in our group and everyone said the frosting tasted artificial or fake. The cake part was good, just the frosting was bad. We tried 2 wedding cake and a lemon.

The worker was so very nice and friendly. She had a geniune smile on her face and was very enthusiastic. Exactly what you would want from someone serving you. We had ice cream and cupcakes. They were good and reasonably priced.

I walked in and the girl came from the back. She had an attitude and sounded like she didn't want to be around people. I purchased a cupcake and I went on my way. Once I started to eat, the cupcake was horrible and had no flavor. It tasted bland. To top it off, I am allergic to coconut I got a cupcake with NO coconut on it or in it. I NEVER got told or seen a sign stating that there would be any in this cupcake. Now, yes I do get that things happen, maybe a few flakes in the batter, but this cupcake had a whole pinch or more of coconut flakes in the cupcake.Overall the experience was horrible!

I bought 4 different cupcakes and they are beautiful looking cupcakes but the cookies and cream tasted like boxed cake and pre-made frosting. I was so disappointed biting into a beautifully made cupcake to find out it doesn't taste fresh. I unfortunately took one bite and did not finish or try the others.
