The food was good but the service was unbearably slow. Took way too long for everything. We probably won't go there again. Too pricy to take 2 hours for a meal. We sat for 20-30 minutes with dirty plates waiting to get a check.

Loved our first time at The Ranchers Club. Service was wonderful and food was great! We will definitely be back. It is a nice place to take your college kid if you are visiting. The calm and quiet atmosphere gives them just a little respite from their crazy college life!

The waiter was amazing, so sweet! The Ribeye was delicious, but I was disappointed in the calamari, it was extremely salty!! Where as the loaded whipped potatoes didn't have enough salt or seasoning. When it came to the Chocolate cake it was very dry, and the frosting was the cheap whipped frosting, the rich chocolate frosted cake you can get from Walmart is way better for the same price. Overall I was kind of disappointed, if I am going to spend $200 dollars on a meal for the family, I expect it to be perfect!

Great food and great ambience! Prime rib special was FANTASTIC! Great hidden gem right on campus! Will definitely be going back when we come see our daughter for the next 4 years!

Service was quite slow for lunch. It was Parents Weekend, so possibly a larger crowd than usual, but not super crowded. People bringing out food seemed not to know which table they were bringing food to, lots of uncertainty from wait staff (these are mostly students, so some of this is to be expected). We loved being able to have a very nice meal on campus and used meal plan. Food was good tasting and good quality, & large portions. Enough variety to satisfy everyone. As an aside, I feel it's important for wait staff to know what their food tastes like. This could be improved from my perspective.

The Ranchers Club is the destination for excellent steaks. We started with excellent cocktails; my wife's choice of the 1890 was spectacular. My wife had her birthday dinner of a rare filet and it was perfectly cooked and deliciously tender. I had the special which was a grilled shrimp pasta with a Tuscan sauce and side sirloin. It was very good, but I might have chosen a thinner pasta like angel hair or thin spaghetti instead of full spaghetti. The sauce was very flavorful. We had appetizers of the baked brie and the calamari. The brie was excellent, and the sauce for calamari was delicious. The appetizers are quite large and one is sufficient for two people. We ended with one dessert for both of us. We also had some wine from a substantial selection of well chosen wines. A great dinner. The hardworking OSU students provide incomparable service.

Food was outstanding. The waiter, all staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was our 49th anniversary. They made it special. My husband ordered salmon and I ordered chicken fried steak which was huge. Brought some home with me. Their bread pudding is outstanding.

Our recent dining experience was delightful. The food was excellent, served in a charming dining area that contributed to the overall lovely ambiance. The staff were very helpful with recommendations and provided attentive service throughout our meal. And that bread pudding – it was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to a wonderful lunch! Will definitely be dining here again.

Great place for a fine dining night. We celebrated our anniversary there and were treated Royally by the staff. Great food, excellent menu options. Highly recommend it for meat lovers.

Although i love Rancher's Club, i felt like the Salmon dish was not generous in size and was dry. Wished it would have come with a sauce or a glaze and maybe a bed of rice.

Unique restraunt at a unique location (OSU campus). Probably one of the top 3 filet mignons I've had the pleasure of enjoying. My only negative was the hostess, we showed up at 6:21 for a 6:30 reservation to a half empty restraunt on a Thursday evening, and she told us to go wait outside and come back when it was time for our reservation. Extremely rude and off putting. She was obviously a student, and can only assume she'd been “coached” on that etiquette. The hospitality did not match the food or ambiance. Do better Rancher's Club.

Our reservation/table was promptly ready. Our server (Keely) was polite and thorough. The food came out in perfect timing, not too fast, not to slow. Steaks were prepared to our liking and we had a fantastic Malbec from France. Wonderful meal and experience.
