The way the owner speaks to her staff is despicable. I’ve overheard her yelling at employees through the kitchen, and rumors of her mistreating ex staff and current staff.

I’ll never eat here again if the attitude doesn’t change. This woman is seen as a pillar of the community, but behind closed doors she dehumanizes her staff and tries to control their every action, personally and professionally and it’s deplorable.

Visited again today at 1pm. Packed but still the food was so delicious and the service was fabulous. We live over an hour away ~ so worth the drive.
Anyone coming the turnpike between Tulsa and OKC ~ Absolutely make the stop before 2pm. Skip breakfast and enjoy.

Popped in at 10:30am and they were ready with a Buffet and Salad Bar. Fried chicken, catfish, steak fingers, meat loaf, brown beans, carrots ~ pecan pie, strawberry pie,coconut cream!
Delicious home cooked comfort food.
No words to describe!!
Even the coffee was yummy.
Clean, friendly staff and outgoing customers.

We found a great little restaurant in Stroud, Oklahoma. They have a nice buffet or you could order from the menu. Great service and friendly folks. The pies are hand made by the 82 year old grandma of the business. It’s about an hour from Tulsa but worth the drive.

Have been there numerous times and have noticed the last few times the food has not been as good quality as the previous years. Love Marcy and the other waitresses but don’t think will chance the trip for bad food ever again.

I had great experience at D's Specialty House. The food was delicious, fresh, and homemade. I ordered the lunch buffet which included fried chicken, steak fingers, mashed potatoes, and fried catfish, which were all amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I recommend D's Specialty House and Catering to anyone looking for a homestyle meal in Stroud. I can't wait to go back.

I came from out of town to see my grandma. My cousin Beverly and her husband took me to this place. This is a definitely a community place!! I had the buffet that had fried chicken, chicken fried steak and all the fixings. I didn't leave hungry ?A definite A++!!!
