If I wanted tomato and lettuce, salad with no crackers and a half a egg, I’ve had better side salad than the chef salad I had at your restaurant. It was all very little lettuce and a whole lot of tomatoes, and maybe a half an egg and a teaspoon of ham And a few croutons. It was very disappointing.
Supposed to serve breakfast until 10:30, waitress said they quit taking orders at 10:15, we got there at 10:20. Could not get breakfast. Lunch was mediocre at best.
Stopped here on our way home from OKC. True Rt. 66 experience. Inside felt like we stepped back in time. Food was delicious and not overly priced. Amazingly broad menu mostly comprised of comfort food. I think what stkod out is that tbe place was being fun by three hs/collega age girls that were all very good workers. If you order a beverage you get a free souvy cup to take home. Great little stop...Hope to make it back again.
From Tulsa I always stop at the Rock Cafe on my way to Oklahoma City. Except on Sunday as they are closed. Anyway I have been going to the Rock for years. Always good food & service. This is the first time I've ever been early enough for breakfast. I've always had lunch before. We started with the beignets and my buddy had the breakfast burrito with hash browns. I had the bacon & cheese omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. I had coffee and my friend had tea. Everything was good and of course I will be back. Be sure to sign their guest book and read the travelers from all over tell their stories. They also have a gift shop with Rock Cafe & Route 66 items.
Breakfast at the Rock Cafe this morning started the day off right, service was outstanding friendly and helpful. Beverly is a new friend and the other waitress is a neighbor. This was our first visit since August 17 2015 which was unsatisfactory in just about every way. This time was completely different Food was great and service was tremendous. Sorry it has taken us ten years of passing it by before we ventured in again but glad we did. Oh and Dawn I grew up in Oklahoma Graduated from OU my wife grew up in Depew. We have property about 7 miles from Stroud. So my claim as local was valid. Thank you for providing a very pleasant start to our hectic day.
Service is off the charts great. Food great. Building puts a smile on your face.

First time I've been in this cafe in a while. The food is great!
The lady was very nice starting out. She was very helpful in explaining the menu and offering us the better dishes to try! Great picks.
But then we stayed for a while trying to enjoy ourselves and the food and we felt very rushed to get out. The vibe changed quick.

We visited Rock Café on Saturday on our way back to Springfield. The food was excellent! This place is everything you would expect from a Route 66 treasure, and it did not disappoint. We had the chili, the spätzle with cheese, and the country fried steak meal. We also ordered fried pickles. The soda comes in a souvenir cup, and they use pebble ice. The servers were all incredibly friendly, and I loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend their oatmeal pie and fried pickles!

Had a great visit to this little gem on Route 66! I tried the Buffalo burger. It was a little pricey but still good. The servers were great! Very helpful with the menu, gift shop recommendations, and suggestions for the area. Love the big menu with Route 66 information!
