First time I've been in this cafe in a while. The food is great! The lady was very nice starting out. She was very helpful in explaining the menu and offering us the better dishes to try! Great picks. But then we stayed for a while trying to enjoy ourselves and the food and we felt very rushed to get out. The vibe changed quick.

We visited Rock Café on Saturday on our way back to Springfield. The food was excellent! This place is everything you would expect from a Route 66 treasure, and it did not disappoint. We had the chili, the spätzle with cheese, and the country fried steak meal. We also ordered fried pickles. The soda comes in a souvenir cup, and they use pebble ice. The servers were all incredibly friendly, and I loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend their oatmeal pie and fried pickles!

Had a great visit to this little gem on Route 66! I tried the Buffalo burger. It was a little pricey but still good. The servers were great! Very helpful with the menu, gift shop recommendations, and suggestions for the area. Love the big menu with Route 66 information!

Nice to make a stop, food is fine, but a long wait, we were there during lunch time. Very friendly staff. You can take your soft drink cup with you and it even comes with a lid. Nice souvenir shop.
