To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Everything about Echo Canyon was fantastic but the food. Breakfast was ok but the dinner was not and the servers need to not tell customers that halibut tends to be dry so that's why it's covered in sauce. First that's just wrong because fish should not taste like cardboard or need a knife to cut and second there was hardly any sauce to "moisten" it to fix the mistake. Just say the chef overcooked it. The filet was cooked well but under seasoned and duck isn't my thing so that I can't speak on it. The sides were forgettable. By the time our dessert arrived (late since we were forgotten about) I had simply given up.Edited. After speaking to the owner's wife we found out the sous chef had to complete service so she was overwhelmed finishing service alone. We will definitely try again next time.

The food is exceptional. The presentation is lacking a little bit but every single bite.of dinner is cooked to perfection. The duck is phenomenal.

When you go to a meal like this you expect great food but you don’t really expect large enough quantities to require a to go box. This place delivered on taste and on quantity. These things don’t come cheap but it was well worth every penny.

I called to inquire about the hours of this restaurant and the man hung up on may after saying the restaurant is only open to hotel guests. When I called back he wouldn't answer the phone so I called from a different number and he answered. I asked him his name and about died when he said he was the owner. My plan was to report him to the owner/manager. We were considering staying over night and having dinner here but he lost our business. Don't support a rude and terrible human.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and were staying at Echo Canyon Spa and Resort. So we decided to have dinner one night during our stay and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great as we love the rustic look of the resort. I had the filet, duck and halibut. They were all great and neither my wife or I could finish all the food. I duck was cooked perfectly with a rare center but a little crusty on the outside. The next was the fillet, cooked medium rare. Again, it was wonderful and I could not finish it as I wanted to eat some of the halibut. My wife and I also loved the twice baked potato. For dessert, we had both the chocolate mouse and the blackberry cake. We will definitely eat here next time we stay at Echo Canyon.

The wife and I wanted to go to Echo Canyon and spend some time at the pool. This is our 3rd time staying here. I have never eaten anything I did not like. The steaks are amazing and tender. The duck and halibut are for my first choice of food but now I find myself eating those first. This time we had the seafood and streak it was so good. I can't remember what it is called but the ravioli with fresh crab meat was awesome. The breakfast is like no other, the Banana pancakes are to die for. Very romantic dinner. I can't wait to go back.

We held our staff Christmas dinner here. Normally, they (staff) will debate the location for days, then roughly one third of them won't attend. When I announced that we would have it here, everyone confirmed within about 15 minutes and everyone attended. The meal was outstanding and the servers were courteous and attentive. Its hard to believe that a restaurant/resort of this quality is located in our rural community. .

We stayed at the hotel and spa and had dinner hear one evening. The food is wonderful and the dessert is delicious. The staff is very kind and professional as well as being very attentive. This is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion.

I’ll start with the positive. The restaurant is inside a charming house which has a pretty nice view of some trees (never saw any canyons). Also, we felt like the service was really good, mainly young staff that were eager to please and very attentive. Now for the food. While our filet was initially overlooked (quickly fixed) all three meats were quite tasty (filet, duck and halibut) and great quality. The desserts we had were the chocolate something and the cheesecake. Both tasted good. Also, throughout the meal you get a peach champagne drink that is basically unlimited. It was a refreshing drink, but not something we wanted to have more than 1 glass of. Any other alcohol is ordered separately. Here’s the negative side. I’d like to start by saying that our opinion would be different if the meal wasn’t $79/person not including alcohol (other than peach champagne drink). It’s $10-20 cheaper/person I believe if you’re staying at the resort. The meal starts with a very basic salad that consists of spring mix, watermelon, cucumber, tomato, olives and croutons. The dressing tasted like a slight variation of Hidden Valley ranch. Not impressed. Next came the homemade bread which was basically Texas toast and a pesto sauce. Both were pretty tasty but again expecting more from a “5 star restaurant.” My wife ordered a glass of red in anticipation of the entree. There was quite a few cork remnants in the glass but once we told them they fixed it quickly and apologized. Then the entree arrived. Again all three meats were great but the sides were not. The twice baked potato had way too much sour cream which seemed to be the only ingredient besides some chopped red onion. Normally, a twiced baked potato comes with butter, sour cream, bacon, green onion and cheese. The other side was green beans. They tasted okay but pretty plain nothing special. Next we ordered a glass of champagne. It came out luke warm. We’re guessing it was poured from one of the bottles on the counter they were using for the peach drink. Long story short if you’ve ever been to some of the prime steakhouses in the OKC metro like Mahogany, Broadway 10, Boulevard, and The Ranch you may be disappointed. Again, great service and quality meats but at $200 (before tip) with only 2 drinks ordered, expectations are pretty high.

Food was outstanding and very friendly service. Breakfast and Dinner both so appealing and appetizing. Our first visit but not our last.

Perhaps only in Vegas have I eaten this well, and even then, NOTHING compares to their filet. Absolutely nothing. Phenomenal food!

Be sure to work up your appetite if you are going here. I liked the filet of beef and duck the best. Very well prepared and really nice comfortable dining room with a view. Great dessert too.
