Poor Girls Cafe Reviews
We had a group of 6 for breakfast. We are from Dallas and wanted a small town local restaurant dining experience. It was so awesome. Food was delish, service was great, and we will be back!
We were in town for a family reunion over the weekend & decided to eat there on our way home yesterday. Omg, (don’t tell my mom 🤣) that chicken & dressing was some of the best I’ve EVER eaten! Sweet tea was wonderful too! Had the best waitress, Angela. Felt bad for her having to deal with a rude customer at the next table over. She was running her legs off & doing a fantastic job despite dealing with rudeness. Then got my drink to go & Skyla was super also. Thank you Ladies!...read full review

Poor Girls Cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere and features a surprising smoking area. The breakfast menu makes customers feel at home, while the friendly staff provide great service. The pancakes are HUGE, and the omelette is delicious, with the French toast coming highly recommended. The coffee, made with Farmer Brothers beans, is some of the best around. The mushroom Swiss burger and tator tots are juicy and tasty, complemented by amazing ranch. Despite some complaints about smoke in the dining room and limited parking, the fresh and good food makes up for it. Prices are a bit high, but the fast and courteous service ensures a good experience worth repeating. The cozy place has 11 tables and gives that small-town diner feel, where guests enjoy tasty home-cooked food and comfortable surroundings. The waitresses keep drinks full, and the cinnamon rolls are beyond amazing. For those who appreciate a side of fresh tomato, it is a delightful treat. Many guests find the atmosphere homey and the staff incredibly nice, making it a spot to visit every time they come back.
