I have driven by Above Par numerous times, but never stopped. Last week, we had an issue with our van, and pulled over in their parking lot. The staff was beyond gracious and patient with us leaving our vehicle overnight. While waiting on our ride, we went ahead and ordered food. It was amazing. Definitely try the mixed meats. The next morning, the owner had aired up our spare for us, and helped us get the jack out from under the van. All done with a smile. Definitely recommend...read full review
Amazing kind of good!! Brisket sandwich was on point. Slaw they make there, fresh cut fries and fried okra. Holy cow!! Staff is very friendly...Our kind of people.
This place is an old school BBQ joint where they get it right.
